The Illinois High School Association has made it official and is adding competitive high school fishing as a sanctioned sport. It is scheduled to start in the spring of 2009. Illinois is the first state in the US to do this............kinda exciting. It will be a great thing for kids and with Colleges having competitive fishing teams can you imagine how hard it will be in Illinois to get on one of these teams. Hopefully other states will follow and we can have competition across the country.

Respect your Environment and others right to use it!

Is this fishing co-ed. If it is - is it fishing or noodling??? LOL!!

I don't really know for sure but I would imagine since it is fishing that it would be Co-Ed.

Just great. Here I am, a senior, and no real way to prolong my time in high school. Well, maybe I could be a coach or something... :D
