timsfly Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Water is up in the park again at Crane, it was out of its banks when I came thru this morning, it was red/brown and running hard, looked like it had been higher in the night. Danoinark Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 We sure got some rain down this way yesterday and last night. We did need it though. Tim overall isn't this good though for Crane in that it should help with the Spring flow? Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
timsfly Posted February 17, 2008 Author Posted February 17, 2008 I don't think the high water is bad, but thursday I found 5 spawning females on beds, and I think the flood will probably do in any eggs that might have been put down already. It was nice to see the spawning fish, 5 fish in about a mile of water that is not bad I guess, and I probably didn't see them all. Danoinark Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Good point. I didn't think about the danger to the spawn. Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
