Members oldhermit Posted March 4, 2013 Members Posted March 4, 2013 New to stockton lake and wold like to know of areas one can fish from the bank. Just like catching fish, don't care what kind they are. Fishing from a boat is not an option for me as I have balance issues and he movement one gets in a boat would trigger vertigo attack. Thanks in advance for all your suggestions.
blue79 Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 What area are you closest? Are you in town or east side of the lake or south?
blue79 Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 ive caught bass walleye and catfish on the river below the dam.In town i just drove through the parks and campgrounds and looked for the walking trails that i didnt have to walk very far.Thats what i did when i first moved here and before i got a boat.
straw hat Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 I have caughta lot of bass, cats and walleye off of the dam rock riprap. evena few crappie. All from the bank. There is also a bluff inside Crabtree Cove which is pretty good in the fall for bass and walleye.
