FWIW...I am waiting on a return call from Steve Moyer (sp) with the National Trout Unlimited. To see if a National Organization can toss their clout around. So far, it seems the state government has issues in other areas. I am also going to ask about the attempted dredging in the Taneycomo Lake. Wish me luck.

drbewley and Dano, everything that I have read and heard about TU is, they only target natural waters. No tailwaters at all. I did join TU for a couple of years, but I am not going to renew my membership.

Chuck, I have a pair of the Wadelights, not Wadelight 1, and I love mine. I have them for a year now, and have had 0 problems. Just follow the manufacturer's care instructions and you should be pleased.

Funny you should mention, but I had a run in, with maybe, the same guy at Taneycomo two months ago. He walked right into the seam I was drifting a midge. Then he had the nerve to give me a GTH look for trying to hit him in the head with a #8 Wooly Bugger. Go figure. I know, two wrongs don't make a right, but he got the idea after the low flying UFO and a few indiscreet words.

Went for a drive today. Stopped at the park on the east side of the river. Noticed 100's of carp tailing in the riffles in the river. What would be the chance of catching these on the fly? Big boys they were. Easy wading, it looked like to me.

Hey Phil...Is this a nation wide issue or a certain mobile provider? Three months ago I started receiving telemarketers call's, so I called my provider and they said I had Okayed it to have them release my number. Which I never did. She said that she could take care of it. So far, no more telemarketers.

ecce38, I was there too. I did very good on Saturday, fished a couple of hours. Only an hour on Friday and Sunday, but I was able to land a few fish. This was my first time to fish this area, and I liked it. Coming back for sure. I did have a little problem at the Dam Site Park camping area. My kids came running out of the tent screaming their heads off. While they were changing clothes in the tent, 3 guys were watching them from the underbrush. I was able to corner them, and locate a park ranger, with some help. Needless to say, the kid's didn't sleep rest of the night. As well as myself. I did get to enjoy a nice rain though.

I just bought a pair of Field & Stream "for the adventure in all of us" sunglasses. My Bolle's were sent in for repair or replacement. I don't care if they come back or not, for $25.00, this pair of shades have them beat hands down. Don't take my word for it, try them out. I bought them at SAM'S.

Phil, Primrose & Pearl midge was the name. With all the heat yesterday, things were a little fuzzy to me. It may take some time, but I can eventially remember.

What about the portable Delphi XM2GO receiver? I was wondering if the built in antenna worked well. I am going to be using it while working indoors and outdoors. It appears to be a clip on the belt system. I have experienced a loss in reception on a mountain by Chattanooga Tennessee. But it was short lived, 30 seconds.
