  10. Tuna were out of Venice, LA - one of a few recent trips in the past couple years. Captain Peace Marvel is an outstanding charter for huge Tuna, good friend of mine - let me know if you want to take a trip down south and I will give him a heads up. The fishery out of Venice is nothing short of amazing. The two yellowfins we kept this trip were 145 & 146 lbs, my PB. The Striper was out of Beaver a couple years back, my PB so far @ 34 lbs. Still hunting for a bigger one! SK

  12. for us, usually best with them in the spring when the perch are up around the rocks spawning. in our experience they dont work as well when the fish go deeper.
  13. big fish busting top in the back of Blackburns, back of Ventris, Shaddox hollow, and a lot of topwater action around cedar and fords creek. The fish are still really scattered..but they are on a feeding frenzy! -SK

Stripes distinct, several extend to tail. Hybrid Striped Bass A. Has two, distinct tooth patches near the midline towards the back of the tongue. B. Body deep, more than 1/3 length. C. Stripes distinct, usually broken, several extend to tail.

  16. thanks for the help F&F. Tell your buddy thanks for letting us borrow his 8000lb strap - that helped us get er out. Definitely learned to be more careful backing that 23ft trailer with the big deep-v boat on it when the lake is as low as it is SK
