A lot of topwater action on points and flats across from Mutton to the west...caught around 100 every time we've been out in the past couple weeks. Fun stuff!!! SK

well, we couldnt find any bait Friday evening so we just decided to stay at table rock and do some trolling for walleye for a couple hours. we caught quite a few big white bass, one 15" walleye, one nice trout -- and right before we left we caught a monster for the wall :-) Sure would have liked to fish for striper, but this dandy made up for it! 10.9lbs, 32", 17" girth SK

who wants to eat a bunch of smallmouth anyway? that lake is such a great smallmouth fishery....its too bad there has to be people like this that mess it up for others. Glad they got caught hope they had fun while it lasted. SK

coming down with a tank full of shad this weekend -- anyone know where the big females are lurking? Thinking about hitting PC/Ventris/Coppermine area. SK

This video is clips from fishing up close out of Port Clinton Ohio May 1-7 2010. Jigging/Dragging bottom bouncers. Got some great limits of fish and had an awesome time. We were able to make it out further to fish for the big females a couple days and I will post that video when I get it finished! Put some groceries in the freezer! SK

gizzard shad...thats a biggun. Id like to take him down to beaver and feed him to a striper! :-) looks like you guys had a fun time!

he took a tiny chartreuse crappie jig tipped with a minnow...small spinning rig. It was quite the battle!!

Tried for walleye up around the dam -- no luck. They havent moved in yet....surface temp was in the mid 40s tho and 39 late. The bass were hungry and willing so it was still a lot of fun. We ended up with around 10 largemouth and smallmouth..including my biggest ever, just under 7 pounds! Hope the walleye will be in there this weekend...this warm spell should "heat" things up!!!

any idea where the big gizzard shad hang out on T-rock during dec, jan, feb? Id assume they head to any springs they can find maybe -- Looking to net some for bait. thanks in advance! SK

54-56 degrees...will be dropping these next couple days with the cold front.

Fished most of the day Friday -- caught fish pretty much start to finish. We couldnt even get all the lines in the water and had a triple on first thing. Makes up for the times we go out and dont catch any!! Fished in the prarie creek, coose, and ventris area again. Most of the fish came on shad with planer boards and 1/4 ounce weight...diving 10 feet or less. The fish were ON FIRE!!! Ended up getting 17 stripers and 2 nice hybrids. The stripers ranged from 12-18lbs. There was a little bit of topwater action, didnt get any hook ups on top though. Get out there if you can!!! Here is a pic of the limit we kept -- Ill post a video as well when I get it edited. Good fishing and happy holidays! SK
