Griffiths gnat,Adams dry, crackle back, PMD, PED, so on. Take your pick. Most trout stocked at the parks don't know the difference. Just get the size close. Get a good drift over fish feeding on the top or in the film.

You can do it in the gut hole right above the Holland Dam. Seen cars actually get hit. Not exactly the best place to air it out.
Simple. Material tied onto a single hook. They've been using them there for years. It's not what a lot of people consider a fly but it is legal. I always thought that Zone 1 was all a fly rod area when I was a kid. But that was just what people fished with there. Now you have to battle with the bank fisherman to wade fish. Plus you have to duck flys being thrown past you while wading from bank fishermen.
I don't think he is. Big deal if he is. It's all just PR anyway. I'm sure no matter where he goes he will get criticized over his mistakes he made on Ferguson.

That post right there pretty much looks like a complaint to me. Am I wrong??? I don't have anything against anyone for posting on this section of the forum. But when you put yourself out there with stuff like this you make yourself an easy target for scrutiny. As far as dumb comments go...... Well, post all you want then.
Fishing will be too easy anyway. You all should just stay home or go to Taneycomo. Those fish are way harder to catch. Plus that rain and cold will be miserable. The roads will be treacherous too. You may get there and then never get out of that hole. Even the fish will be soaking wet. Who in the world wants to catch a wet cold fish??? Terrible I tell ya. Terrible!!!
Well..... I've give him everything I've ever used. But, no.
Nixon could probably use bait in zone 2 and they would have a diver in to hook up drugged fish for him to make everything look good.
The RV park I keep my camper at doesn't turn on the water till after the last freeze. I don't mind camping in cold weather but a lot of people do. No running water keeps a lot of people away till they turn it on.
I remember the campground behind the Suzy hole being packed opening weekend. But soon after it wasn't till warmer weather.
It's that time again. 2 more weeks till the opener. Who's going to be there? It should be interesting. Low clear water and not a lot of area for all the people. Sunday's typically tend to be the busiest openers I believe.
I plan on going down to see the show. If it clears out I will drop a fly in and see if I can land a fish or two.
