yeah usually a couple people there with kids playing in water and drinking beer.It was really good till I got past ramp and some people camping with stereo going..

Floated today from Cherry corner to Allen bridge again.I had it all to myself did'nt see anyone until I got to the take out caught a couple small goggle eye. the water is still moving pretty good. I got a pic from old mill.

I'll be there - does'nt matter which section of shoal. I've floated both several times and most of the time never see anyone.

color is getting better shallow water almost clear. you can tel its getting hot out lots of people at take out and a few upstream camping out and swimming.

went this afternoon floated from old e bridge to cherry corner, water is still movin pretty good several trees down still with leaves on them.had to get out couple times to go around them.I did nt fish much but caught a nice bass about halfway, also saw 2 deer and a raccoon.pretty good afternoon maybe I'll get a camera to take with me one of these days.

I had a great time meeting everyone. sure will take time to remember names though.we made it to lake sunday spent sun- mon- tuesday an came home weds.did nt catch much fish but had a good time.

It was'nt too bad one tree I had to get out and lift canoe over then 2 that I had to go under just leaned forward.next time I'll see about going on thru to shoal creek just trying to decide how long it will take to places to take out.

Took my new to me pack canoe to capps today just floated to next takeout to test it out.We saw some people fishing but not catching much.just good to get out great day for it.

Does anyone have places to start and approx how long to float shoal??I can find maps for elk river but not much for shoal creek.thx

I'll say shoal since its closest to me.will also be going to stockton/grand/and most of the rest when I can get away
