  2. I run from Barclay to Bennett in my jet all the time knocking over canoers and just being a plain old asshole....I love it.

  5. Please report....I did well last weekend in that stretch and I'm thinking about doing it next weekend as well. Watch the darn swans!
  6. I put in at Barclay last night...jetted up about a mile and then floated back.....many smallies on topwater....no trout!
  7. I've never fished the river above Bennett. Thought about putting in a Big John for smallies. Does anyone know if there is enough water to run a jet boat up there?
  8. If any of you have been out on Lake Niangua you've seen the big butt white house overlooking it....whats the story? Also, why are there swans out there, I didn't think they were native to Missouri.
  9. I went to Jerome to put in at the D bridge but there is no access there. I thought there used to be a place there to put in. Is there another place nearby?
  10. Does anyone know if it's ok to put in around the bridge just down from Orla Mill or is that Empire territory? I'd like to fish around the mill and can't figure out how to get in there.
  11. Has anybody tried to wiggle a boat trailer in at Prosperine? It looks like it may be tricky!
  12. The people in Eldridge? I thought the Niangua River Ranch owned the Blue Spring area. By the way, what is Bird Island? And secondly, this $3 to the trailer guy makes me a little nervous.
  13. Dern them chicks! Yeah it seems a little rough in the summer down there. Is there a place near Blue Spring to get in I wonder? The old road has huge signs up that say to keep out!
  14. Is that the same as the whistle bridge?
  15. I was trying to find a place to put in between Properine and Tunnel Dam. I drove to Berry Bluff but there was no where to put in at. I was going to drive all the way around to Lead Mine but I wasn't sure if there would be a place to put in there. Any ideas?! Also, I wouldn't mind finding a place between Tunnel and Lake of the Ozarks either.
  16. Mostly all largemouth actually. Not too many smallies in the last month or so.
  17. Been to the river two nights this week. From 7:00 till dark been catching lots of nice bass on hula-poppers and buzz baits between Bennett and Barlclay. Just can;t go during the weekend when the river is filled with pricks!
  18. I've never been to any of these three lakes but I live within an hour. I love catfish jugging and thought about trying it out on Fellows or Springfield, I heard there were no boats allowed on McDaniels. Are there alot of catfish in these lakes? What is the boat requerments. I have a 3hp motor.
  19. I was thinking about heading up to hit the area where the river goes into the lake this coming weekend. I was thinking it may be a good time to catch some crappie or whites. My question is, would the water be deep enough around the PP access to get around in my jon boat and 3 HP outboard? Is there a place closer to the lake that would be a better spot to put in? I have a little boat so I don;t want to be too close to the lake!
  20. Has anybody found any goggle eye this spring on the Gasconade or the Fork? If so, what where you catching them on? How deep?
  21. Are there any crappie in the lake? I assume there are some smallies in there.
  22. I've got a little 3 hp outboard on a 14' flatbottom. I was thinking about doing some fishing on lake niangua. Would it be fairly easy to get around with a regular outboard? Also, are ther smallies, crappie, and catfish abundant in that lake?
