Hey guys, Im looking to buy a small trailer. I just sold a 6x12 utility trailer that I modified to haul my kayaks. The only issue was the width. I could not fit it in the back yard (Gate 3 inches too narrow). So Im now on the lookout for a small trailer. Bigger the tires, the better ( I like to take long trips). Thanks RPS. Never in my life have I caught a walleye. I lived on Lake Ten killer for years and we had a few, but I never hooked one. I want to expand my fishing but prefer the rivers from the lake, although I'm going to have to try catching some stripers from the kayak. Thanks again.

I have fished plenty from spider creek and up river. But I have never fished lower than spider creek. Can anyone tell me about fishing further down stream? What can I expect and is it worth chasing different t species? I can fly fish or bait cast, which ever is better. Thanks for any info.

I am wanting to trade /sell my johnson 9.9 outboard. It has a new water and fuel pump. I replaced the head gasket and have a new fuel tank and fuel line. It is a good running motor. I sold the jon boat and now do not have a reason to keep the motor. I'm looking for a bow, crossbow, rifle, shotgun, gocart/buggy, nice mountain bike, kayak, canoe, etc. You never know what I'll trade for. Otherwise I'm asking $600 cash. I have since taken the risers out. I never launched it with the seats high. But honestly I don't see them being an issue unless you have never been in a boat before. It worked great on the beaver tail waters.

Ok, so I bought a 12 foot jon boat and refinished it. Added some seats decked and carpeted the floor and benches. Then I sold my truck and bought a suburban. Now I can't haul the boat so I bought some kayaks. Now the boat has to go. It comes with lights (needs to be rewired) trolling motor, small fish finder (AA powered) home made wheel kit and a 9.9hp Johnson outboard. I replaced the head gasket, fuel pump and have a spare water pump. New fuel tank and fuel line. Looking for cash but MAY trade for a 10 - 12 ft utility trailer. I'm pricing it at $1000 for everything listed plus a few extra throw in things. I'll listen to reasonable offers. I need to get back up to Montauk. Ill miss this years annual trip due it being scheduled on the one week I work that month. Maybe I can catch a fall trip.

Took it out this morning and it ran great. I even learned that the motor will start while in reverse! I may go ahead and sell it and start saving for one of those long skinny fiberglass boats I see all over the river We did land 5 trout this weekend in about 45 minutes. Four got off (stupid bar bless hooks) and my son (8) hooked into a hog but it shook off.

Fuel pump, nee head gasket and water pump installed. Started on the third pull. After that it has started on the first pull everytime. (Let it cool down restarted) gonna run it this weekend.

Give me a week or two so to see if I can source this part. It supposedly had low compression because it would "bog down" before geting to WOT. I think its the crack in that fuel pump housing sucking air.

Im also on the look out for a cap on the fuel pump or a complete pump for a 1979 Johnson 9.9. I have one source that wants $9 to ship a $3 part. Still looking for something local. Id rather burn $20 in fuel trying to find it local than pay $9 for shipping. LOL.

Apparently I dont according to the DMV today. I registered the boat and I asked her how long to get the title. She said I wont get one, just the registration since its so small. (12 foot). I did have a co-worker bring me a Johnson 9.9 that supposedly has low compression and hasnt ran in 3 years. Im not sure what it will take to get it going, or if its work re-ringing it. MFU if you have something, let me know. I can work with a bill of sale.

I really like the idea of a CC. Most of the ones I find are either a deep V or out of my price range. I wouldnt be against a flats boat if I could find one.
