  1. Registration for all 2014 events is now open! www.oakleybigbass.com
  2. Yes, we've increased the hourly payouts again for 2014 and added two places per hour. 1 $1000 2 $500 3 $300 4 $250 5 $200 6 $150 7 $100
  3. Thanks for the feedback and for fishing w us. See you next year.
  4. We don't run and event on LOZ that's a different group. No offense at all to the other orgnizations but we have a completely different set up than most tournaments. Not feasible to separate our staff and rig etc. We've gone over this before, we are there because of Bass Pro Shops and part of what we are doing is assisting with the promotion of their properties. Multiple weigh ins do nothing to assist in that. If anything they would diminish our efforts. The set up at Long creek was awesome and a much quicker weigh in experience for the anglers. Finally, the event grew by 52% this year over last year so I think it's safe to say there's plenty of interest in the event and the location isn't hurting the turnout.
  5. The top two fish this year were caught close to long creek. Not sure what they were fishing with. Just goes to show you that you don't have to complain about how far the weigh in is from the James. You simply have to find fish closer and you can still win this tournament. Takes one bite.
  6. Thank you for fishing w us!
  7. All anglers and weights are up on website. Hourly payouts are $1000 $500 $300 $200 $150

  9. To everyone who came out this year. Record number of anglers participated and a record number of states were represented. (17 states and Canada) We appreciate the hospitality and want to thank ozarkanglers.com for letting us be a part of the board. Hope to see everyone next year. All results are up at http://oakleybigbass.com
  10. James, we polygraph both days in our events. Not sure what you're referring to and not going to get into any kind of speculation. Our rules are clear related to what prevents someone from entering or events or what would cause someone to be removed from our events. There were no failed exams yesterday and no issues.
  11. First things first, it isn't "our" text system. It's delivered by a third party. At every event there are about 5% of the texts that get blocked by the carriers (beyond our control). Sprint tends to be the worst but it's certainly not isolated to Sprint. Our text system is an added value that's provided as a courtesy to our anglers to provide hourly updates. We aren't obligated to provide it and the service works perfectly for 95% of the anglers in our event. We also have an android/iPhone app that anglers can download for free and our website is updated in real time as well during the event on our leaderboard. If you're in need of data at our events there's no shortage of ways to get it. In fact I don't know of another trail in the country that goes farther to keep our anglers in the loop hourly. Thanks for your comments.

  13. Anytime you can find one of our staff there during the tournament. If you're waiting until the event to pick them up understand that it may take a little longer to get your rod as we are normally pretty busy running the event. MJ
