No, we do not plan to ban the A rig at this point. We are going to let state and lake regulations prevail for now. There's a lot of reaction around this subject right now and it's certainly polarizing but we won't be banning the use of this presentation in our events. We will continue to monitor and evaluate.
Two important notes related to our trail.
#1 We have events in 9 different states so it will be up to the anglers to understand the laws related to the A rig in their state. Any violation of those laws will result in disqualification from our events.
#2 We only allow up to 3 fish in the livewell at any one point during our event, so regardless of the effectiveness of the A rig or any presentation for that matter we affect less fish and handle far less fish at the tanks than a traditional five fish tournament. Conservation and fish care, has and will always be a priority of our trail and a benefit of the big bass format.
