  1. Thanks I will call tomorrow, that's pretty close also I just launched out of Cape Fair about two weeks ago. Please keep them coming.
  2. Just checked and they are slowing generation and are at 1121.83 so I guess we will see real soon how far this is going to go. I hope they get that sand out of the parking lot at Rocky Branch when this time before a rain brings it right back up, I sure would like to have the parking back.
  3. I am looking for a shop or someone with a home business that can put a prop on a block and straighten out the blades correctly. I am not looking to spend a lot on this prop for a full polish, or blue print just need it beat out right. The prop is a stainless steel 4 blade, 25 pitch and I hit a rock and bent the ends, did a little work to it myself and it doesn't come out of the hole like it used to, but I don't have the block to do this job right. I would be willing to drive to Grove or Tulsa if you have a good guy for the job. If this is not the right area of the Forum to post this in, please let me know since I am new here.
  4. Good luck, all this wind and storms will make top water fishing hard.
  5. IMO a 6 to 10 ft drop would help the fishin more.
  6. Well I learned something too, I always thought the sound came from the rocks.
  7. With all the fry I have seen latley I think the spawn is almost over, the carp are coming in to spawn now and that is usually a sighn the bass are finished. With the clear water on the North end, most of the beds were 10 or more feet down and the water will drop about 6 inches a day at full generation and the eggs will hatch in about 72 hours and the fry will be on thier own a day after that so all the late spawners should be good. I take it as all good, Bring the food and fish together and the fishing will get hot. This is the first real drawdown for two years and it has been about two years since I have had 5 after dark. With all this current, water temp there should be no bad way to fish this weekend there will be a lot of personal best set this next week.
  8. I just noticed they are pulling water heavy for last 24 hours. Anyone heard if they are are going to pull through the weekend and how far it will go? I am thinking back to 1120ft.
  9. I know they have different entry fee than most jackpots, is it by person or boat? I think $20 covers all the entries but is that for 2 peolpe per boat or one?
  10. The sound they make is from a "rock" in thier head that is made by the fish a lot like a pearl. It has always been a tradition to carry one in a tackle box or boat for good luck, the bigger the rock the more luck. Funny on Beaver I have hit just about everything on a jig or crank but never a drum.
  11. Just brought this back to top, I am interested also. Anybody got the info yet?
  12. Wish I would have known, I pull a white boat with a white Ford Ranger.
  13. I hit 3 nice Wallye throwing jigs in the rocks around point 5 Monday. The spots were non stop by just dropping a 4in worm on a drop shot about 10ft under the boat in 20ft of water. I have never "tried" to catch walleye but they are fun when you are not fishing for a check.
