  1. It was my moms but she bought it and used it once and it broke retrieving the first cast..Cheap POS.. 1: The gear thingy that makes it work 2:The plastic piece that connects the handle to the reel 3: the handle 4:The assembled pieces but they don't stay without tape or glue. I have tried to repair my baitcast but will prolly leave that one alone if I can get this one to work. Thanks ~Nerd
  2. I know they will fix it, but seeing as I'm 2 hours away and broke..lol..I don't think I could make it. I'm hoping to be able to get it working for next weekend but IDK ~Nerd
  3. Did awesome this weekend and will be doing it tomorrow as well..lol..Gonna be up at 5 to do it all over again..lol ~Nerd
  4. My dad gave me a baitcasting reel and I tried to tear it down and fix it. Before I took it apart, when I casted it made this horrible noise and I got no distance what so ever. The baitcaster is a Shimano B-Mag 1000. It's older(not sure HOW old) and I really like it but I'm afraid I killed it. What I did. I took both side plates off to expose the guts. Took the ball bearing out and everything else off the left side and pulled the spool out. On the right side were all the gears are, I think I oiled it WAY to much. I tried to clean it the best I could with Dawn but then after putting it back together the spool dosen't spin and the retriever thingy that goes left and right dosen't move. I have everything placed correctly before reassembly but I'm stumped. Spinning: It's a Shakespeare CSP30 and the handle broke clean off. I have the handle and the assembly but it's broke broke..lol I have another reel, same brand different model..Yout hink I could use that handle?? Any help would be appreciated ~Nerd

  6. I'm really not qualified to give advice, but I will say what worked for me and another member on this forum. Grad you a topwater lure(Talk to Larry Richards about technique) and head to the Henderson Park area. Go down there and you'll catch a whole slew of em'. It's a jerking action to resemble a wounded bait fish and boy does it work. ~Nerd
  7. If i had the gas money to get somewhere else I would..lol Just got back from trying to get something at Panther Bay, Cranfield, Henderson Point and I'll be going to Peigon Creek tonight sometime..Gotta dig up some worms tho..lol Were is Tecumseh?? ~Nerd
  8. Greetings and salutations..lol I've been here(Mountain Home) for the past 2 years and love it. It's real pretty and has some dang good fishing. Came upon this forum thru Google and I like it already. I mainly fish Lake Norfork at Pigeon Creek cause it's right down the street from my house. Just saying hey and glad to be here. JGraham
  9. I'm new to the forum and will be posting an intro shortly but I wanted to get this out the way..lol I've been living here for 2 years now and have NO fishing buddies. I bank fish from lack of funds and have very slim tackle. Good rods/reels but not so good tackle. I mainly go to Pigeon Creek of 201 North and do a lot of fishing through out the day. I'm looking for people that wouldn't mind me hooking up with them to do some fishing. I don't drink(don't care if you do, just don't like the taste), I do smoke cigarettes but if I'm with someone that dosen't, I don't even bother to bring them. I love to have a good time and can throw in gas money if you have a boat. I love all kinds of fishing, just as long as I'm fishing..lol No time is to early and I have a truck to travel with within a reasonable distance. If your interested please PM me on herte or txt me @ 405-4528. I only have txt so don't bother calling as it want go thru. Thanks JGraham
  10. Looking for someone to go fishing with.
