Hello all, I am new to the forumn. Been lurking for a while and wanted to give some input. I hit springfield lake with a good friend saturday morning. We launched a canoe under the 65 bridge at around 9:00AM. We had good success that morning but the bite seemed to drop off around Noon. From 9-12 we caught 3 good size bass (14", 15", 16"), 3 small bass, a black crappie (I think??, picture attached) and two small perch. The bass were caught on pumkin seed tubes and watermellon pepper double tailed hula grubs (chommper brand). I attached some pics (1 of the bass and 1 of the crappie). Sorry for the quality.
