  1. I haven't had a pair of Redington waders, but all of their other products have met my expectations and their customer service is great.
  2. Did you watch anything before the 8th inning? Simply atrocious.
  3. Nice! You do know you have set a new level of expectation when it comes to your videos, right?
  4. I would say it is a combination of the two, Dennis. If I can fit it through the hook eye I fish 4x flouro. If I have to I drop down to 5x. Even using 4 and 5x I still catch wild wary fish from streams x, y and z consistently. A 6wt isn't well suited for protecting tippet and if you have a stiffer faster action rod that only compounds problems. The softer the rod, the more it protects the tippet.
  5. Maybe that's how they stay level headed?
  6. Your neck will be sore if you acknowledge everything he says.
  7. I don't believe that. You had business in Cabool? Nice fish.
  8. Awesome. What did you start out with?
  9. Gonna have some homebrew with it?
  10. Killer vid. Looks like you guys had a blast. I wish you guys could've stuck a couple.
  11. You'd be surprised how many UMSL shirts I see go down the river....
  12. Well I wouldn't like that. But if someone opened up a glass shop next door and gave 30% of their proceeds to Recycled Fish I wouldn't care. You sure you are reading things clearly, Cricket? RF is similar to TU, and West-Fly is for profit, but donates 30% of said profits to RF.
  13. Wayne, it's called catch and release. I've seen you practice it, but I know the term was coined well after you started fishing.
  14. Yeah, another plug for an online fly shop... BUT, this one is different. West-Fly donates no less than 30% percent of it's profits to Recycled Fish. You can read more below. As far as the quality of the flies? This is from Brandon Hill at West-Fly:
  15. That is something they won't soon forget. I remember my first game vividly. I was there for the not so good outcome of the first Series games at home in '04. Absolutely electric. I can't imagine what that place was like when Motte got those punch outs to end the game.
  16. I use Mirage. I did use Flouroflex, by Rio until a buddy gave me some Mirage when I ran out. I couldn't tell a difference and it was five bucks cheaper so I switched.
  17. Said pics or it didn't happen.
  18. Berkley Vanish (or other flouro that comes on a big spool) is much cheaper than 3X "tippet" on the small spools. I also use the beadheaded fly as the dropper so when it anchors I don't lose contact with the other fly and spread my two flies out a little more and put the split shot between them, again, to maintain direct contact with one fly at all times, even when the split shot anchors. I also don't use a bobber (in most scenarios) and have realized that I was missing strikes while using one.
  19. Pickup 5 per hand and you won't need to bring your own gloves.
  20. Cool report for many reasons. Thanks for sharing.
  21. LOL! I am too BW. Not knowing how to fish somewhere you never have fished before doesn't make you a db. It's a lack of common sense that is the qualification in most cases.
  22. I also forgot to mention that the video you made is awesome. My bad.
