Man it was tough for us last weekend. The big bass tourney had boats all over the lake. We fished from 38MM to 50MM. We didn't have any luck in the back of coves, pockets about half way back in coves we found some fish but mostly small males making beds. We found the largest concentration of active fish in the cuts behind main lake points that had pea gravel at the back. We didn't catch anything with size, biggest was about 2.5. I heard of a lot of bass being caught on carolina rigs closer to the darn. I would fish mostly spawn patterns and post spawn with rigs and soft plastics.

Brutal for me and my dad. We fished around 32-45MM and only had 1 decent fish at 3.6. MattS, what did your buddy catch it on and what part of the lake?? Not looking for GPS coords or anything just something general. Good for him!

So who is fishing big bass bash this weekend? I'll be down tomorrow at some point. I haven't been down since Labor day so hopefully I can find some fish!!

Any new bass reports? Coming down for a tourney July 14th and only fished a couple hours last weekend with 2 keepers. Will be fishing midlake (35-50MM). Thanks!
