Had a blast on the Big Piney yesterday. We floated from 6x to Ross. We caught a ton of fish between the three of us I would put the number at 100 or above(smallies and goggleye). We fished soft plastics and rebal crawdad crankbaits. We forgot a tape measure or a way to measure the goggleye so we released everything to nervous to keep a 7 inch goggleye I think we had serval over eight though. On the smallies alot of them were between 10 and 14 inches my buddies each did get a nice one wich we thought were between 15 and 17 inches(out of same hole). I would definitly say the Big Piney is a hidden treasure.I just got back from the Jacks Fofrk wich was beautiful but the few difference were ALOT less people, water slower and clear with green stain. I also noticed the smallies on the Fork are fattier and the ones On Big PIney were longer and leaner looking. We all had serval 3 in rows wich was awesome.Looking forward to getting back!
