  4. I JUST picked up an Lowrance Eilte 5. Have not installed it yet, but mainly got it for my console to replace my crapped out gps unit. I was able to transfer my navionics data fro a standard card to a micro sd for the Lowrance Eilte 5.. Will report later if it works... ( ill be back on Table Rock in 2 weeks) Last month I got a Humminbird DI HD unit for the rolling motor. THAT works great especially sitting still... These were MY choices for what "I" think "I" needed on a cheap bastard budget..... Good luck in your decision..
  5. Nice, will you be selling these ? 1/2 ounce ???
  6. Just thinkin............... Can I transfer data from the standard sd card to a blank micro sd card ? Suppose no one ever thought of that huh !

  8. I do not believe there are "updates to SD cards" Just newer versions for sale. For that info, you need to do some internet searching. Can't imagine there would be many changes in 3 years...

  12. 6. The permit plate must be attached to the post, facing private property, no less than four feet off the ground THANKS WILL DO !
  13. Marina fuel prices are a bit high. Anyone do anything smarter than carrying 3 five gallon gas cans from the truck ? I have heard about these portabe fuel stations, but I dont know how I would get that heavy sucker out of the truck and rolled up to the boat.. Maybe it is easier than I think.. Anyone use one of these..
  14. I should get one of needles. Can these be got at Walgreens pharmacy ?
  15. Make sure you get a "Vegetative Permit" from the C.O.E. When FRED ESSER (417-334-4101) came to my place (by my request) he told me "if I get a permit", on corp property I could remove anything that had a trunk diameter less than 2" at chest height. Once the trees get 2" or larger they must be left alone. No pruning either. The exception were Dogwoods, Redbuds & Cedars which were to be left alone at any size. I did get the permit, but have failed to display it properly.......... but it is suppose to be able to be seen from the water.
  16. I dont mind people fishing "UNDER" my private dock & slip, its when people smack my boat with a jig that pissed me off. But the water ? Who cares, not much chance of snagging a boat lifts air hose.
  17. Tackle Shop with liquor ? That will save me a trip ! Thanks.
  18. Been there ect.... Thats while I have started fishing sitting down. I put an offset seat post & nice sat with backrest on the bow. I swivel to most positions I want to be & dont fall down much anymore
  19. I second that "Kimberling City. Ozarks Bait & Tackle"... I was very pleased to see they carry about everything "I" like to use.. If its sold there- you can use it on Table Rock !! You can usually see some locals sitting at the table when you walk in. So far so friendly. I wouldnt waste the trip to Bass Pro- so much stuff. "Kimberling City. Ozarks Bait & Tackle" is an awesome store AND they have a website of you want to look around..(see link) Good luck ! Billfo http://ozarksbaitandtackle.com/
  20. I was lucky. The tree took a lightning strike, burned it & busted it off about 3' from the ground. Problem solved. My lakeview was improved by Mother Nature..
  21. darn.. I wouldn't put my hands in THAT mouth !!! Thats huge !!!!
  22. The only Catfish I caught on Table Rock was completely by accident. He hit a plastic on the bottom of a 30 foot channel.
