  1. Thanks for all the responses, sounds like this batch is going in the trash and ill stick to the fresh stuff
  2. Like the title says, these are just some photos that I've snapped while out bank fishing. I seem to do more fishing than catching these days however sometimes having the freedom to be out enjoying God's creation can be just as rewarding. These two were taken early morning @ beaver creek. Empire park with the family: Sunrise @ Kdock: Walleye caught on upper bull shoals: Headed to shadow rock park: The next three is what I believe to be barker hole: Just a pic of table rock on a nice summer day: And last just about the most awesome sunrise ever:
  3. I have always been told that the worst smelling bait always produces the best results. Is this a good rule of thumb? I have some chicken livers that I put in handy little sacs and garlic salt that I didn't end up using and have been sitting outside the back side of the shop since last October I think, it could be longer. Just wanted to get some opinions on if this would be a good idea to use or not. Thanks in advance!
  4. Some see it as a problem,I see it as a workout!

Right now i'm waiting for the branson tourism season to pick up so i have more time on my hands than anything. 13. Only got to fish for about an hour and a half till it got too cold to sit out there but I did get to pull this one out of the water.
  14. I have a friend that fishes with me regularly and he told me that someone told him that a couple weeks ago MDC had released two walleyes with a reward tag of $10,000 each on them. I haven't found anything on the web to confirm this, but wanted to bounce this off of the experts here and see if there is any truth to this very fake sounding story.
  15. that does sound like a good spot thanks
  16. Hello, I know everyone likes to give up thier favorite fishing spots about as much as we like to pay taxes, but I was curious if anyone could give me a general idea of where I could go catfish fishing from the bank with the water up so high? I tried down by powersite dam a week or so ago and dind't have much luck. However, I did drive by there this evening and noticed that water wasn't flowing over the top so maybe that's where I need to try again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  17. Since bull shoals is up so high and all my previous fishing spots are now under deep water anyone have any suggestions/ideas for bank fishing spots in the forsyth area?
