  1. fished stockton today. put in at cedar bluff ran toward high point water was getting muddy about1/2 mile before high point. tried for crappie only got one keeper. went back to maze creek and water was clear till back of maze creek. caught a nice bass on spbait. no crappie. went across to masters caught one crappie but bunch of short bass. to sum it up water was clear above high point but 56 degrees up three to four feet with most of buckbrush covered. if water doesn't warm up i would go bass fishing. bass on points in and around the cover should have no problem catching a bunch with a few keepers mixed in.
  2. just moved back to springfield from pcbeach,fl.. ran a 28ftr private boat for a friend and averaged fishing offshore and bay five days a week fot 10 years. used power pro on most rods and had a minimum of problems. used hi vis and with fluro leader. always attached with a uni knot. found put one more wrap on the power pro than on the leader. also found most broken leaders caused by drags to tight. about half of what you use on mono works well and because of no stretch will tear their lips off.
  3. just moved back up here from fl. several months ago. used power pro for both inshore and off shore fishing. fish from two pounds to over one hundred. always used fluro leader with the power pro. found make one more wrap with the power pro . for instance on 10 lb to 10 lb use 4wraps of fluro to 5 wraps of braid hardly ever broke. what i did find would break the knot was drag set to tight with braid use half what you use on mono.
