  4. RON PM i would like to go out on stockton sometime. i am off tuesdays and wednesdays.
  5. I live in nixa and am a non boater. i would love to get together. I work until 4:30 in branson i work most weekends but since they closed mutton creek fishing dock i have not been to stockton. would love to get together with some members. i think it would be fun to have another branson meeting or springfield meeting this summer as well. i know they have the meeting Jan 1 but one during the summer maybe interesting and fun to have an OAF tourney/ draw/ cook out.

  8. usmc sometime we will need to. we will just meet at the ramp. im off tuesday and wednesdays. i dont know when i will be back out. ive been using the same gas since like september last yr and ive went 7 or 8 times on it. my motor doesnt use much and its a 3 gallon tank.

Ducky I have been considering going at night and also wanting to learn stripping. how would you suggest i go about learning and what type of lights do you use or bring along. i have fished during the day many times just not at night and i think it would be something i would like to learn and do this summer. any help would be great. i look forward to meeting new members this year.
  12. Welcome i am in nixa too. i would like to get into tournaments but do not have a big enough boat. i have a boat for lake springfield and try to hit there 2 to 5 times a week when it is nice. i fish for trout to bass to crappie
  13. when i have been out between myself and talking to others in the main lake there are many 2 to 7 pound bass in the main area. some days i can go out and catch nothing and others catch over 15 fish it doesnt make sense.
  14. I went out yesturday as well and didnt catch anything but i had a hard time getting to the lake with a flat tire. there are some nice bass in the main lake area. i have not had alot of success on the river portion.
  15. If i can get my trailer registered today i will try and go out on sunday it looks like it will be near 60 degrees and the wife will be at work.

  18. i have not fished spawning period. Springfield lake is one of a kind. one day i have found fish the next nothing. you can catch crappie and then they disappear. main lake fish around brush and weeds. river around the banks. i have not fished in the winter much but hopefully i will get out soon to see.
  19. I agree a pin would be great. I've fished the area and when i get back home and make a report i get comments saying this was me you talked to and didn't know they were on the forum
  20. I was at knotty pines resort in march and they had a heated dock with cable tv. during the winter i heard you can pay a fee to fish.

  22. Looks like it was a fun time. sorry i couldn't make it. Wife had the day off and spent time with her. hope to see everyone next year. Is there any other time of the year that everyone gets together?
  23. John I don't know if you would remember a guide on the White river that hasn't guided for many years by the name of Winston Parkinson? I thought I would ask.
  24. does anything need brought? it looks like i probably will be coming with my brother in law the wife has to work.
