Went out a week or so ago and fished and didnt have any luck. anyone having luck if so what are you using?

When did it close? I fished there in March and caught some nice crappie.

I do as well. I have to get another couple. the one i had been using has caught almost 30 fish and is looking bad now.

Fished outlet 2 again this afternoon. Got into the water about 5 and was using a dark gray scud with a no. 4 spilt shot with a float about 3 to 4 foot up from the scud. within a minute of getting to my spot i had a fish. i had 8 with in 4 mins and then it dropped off. i spent another hour and only caught 2 more. i used a warm gray scud. i need another and went to get some more for tomorrow. i am planning another trip after work tomorrow as well.

I fished a tapered leader. my float was set about 3 to 5 feet away from the bottom. i used a No. 4 split shot.

It's open 24 hours a day. I was there from 2:45 pm to 11:00 pm. I got some fishing in and the people were nice that were fishing. I am thinking about going back Wednesday it looks like it is going to be nice.

it is not heated it is 4 dollars and between 20 and 30 foot deep. it is enclosed with windows and doors. and rod holders for spinning rods under the railing.

I fished Mutton Creek at the covered fishing dock and there were a few people. the guy next to me and his family caught 8 crappie keepers and a white bass. I was able to get 6 keepers and a couple of other small ones we let go. the bites were strong and also at about 15 to 20 feet.

Got to the parking lot about 5:00 pm. fishing outlet 2 since the water was on. was there about 2 hours and probably caught 20 fish. used the same dark gray scud the whole time. had a nice fish on but lost it. It would have been the biggest I had ever caught. This trip reminded me why I fish.

I'm planning on making a trip to mutton creek. have the Crappie been biting?

Which Boathouse past the park. the only one i know of is where Canoes can be rented. -

I've fished Lake Springfield many times last summer. I have caught some nice bass along the bluffs east of the Boat house towards the 65 Bridge mainly using crank baits. Is there a place to get minnows in that area around the lake or in Ozark or Nixa? -
i was planning a trip soon to get the boat out and wondering if anyone has been recently since the weather has been better? i need to get the boat out to see how it is.

Hello, I have been reading for about a year now and decided to become a member. My name is Patrick and I live in Nixa and work in Branson. i fish a little bit of everywhere. I have been fishing Bennett Springs for years. last year i started fishing Stockton. I got a small boat in August and started fishing Lake Springfield which is close and has some nice fish. started working in Branson in October and started fishing at the Dam/ Hatchery area. I have been fishing there several time. I look forward to talking to everyone and learning more about fishing.
