  8. Round 2... Just another AWESOME night out.. water off early and the fish were on! started off up at the flat with a new sculpin pattern.. first 10 cast equal 6 fish.... hits on every cast.. didnt take to long for them to get use to it. switched over to a PMS and got a few more... over to a black and purple Hibernator and it picked up... quite a few guys out last night on the flat.. so I made my way to the Guanlet and the big hole.. It was none stop strikes and lots of LDRs but.. it was worth every hit.. caught a BUTT load of fish lost count about 20... 25...30..... really I lost count! fish of the night was a couple sweet 18-19in bow.... And a awesome sweet little brown.... *** about 10in*** LOL..
  9. I hit the water just after 10pm... water still on but it didnt take them long to shut it and then the fun started... I fished fished the flat with Jeff.. Caught a couple nice ones on the PMS and it was just slow .. so I switched over to a red Hibernator and nailed a few more nice fish.. still on the slow side.. went to a Black/purple Hibernator and start catching some really nice fish... best of the was a FAT 18 (pushing 19) incher... total fish for night I would say around 25/30 Great night out... Leonard
  10. Not kid friend... Oh stop it guys... you just dont what kids throwing rock.. LOL... First off .. try to get a hold of Lilleys Landing for a place to stay .... Phils got a nice play ground for the little ones and a swimming pool... Up by the dam.. the guys are right.. its not all that kid friendly.. unless he like to fish and play in cold water. 20. Randy.. Personally.. Id say you would be ok with the 4lb Maxima.. (I myself love it!) The braided... I dont know about.. never trid to bait/drift with it.. your crappie rod sould work just fine... Although... If you are looking to replace the line.. I would suggest going up to 6lb maxima (ultragreen).. I use it on my spinning when bait fishing... and and I have 8lb on the second spools for jigs/rapalas (and have bait fished using it.. and still catch fish on it).. With the rain coming again this week.. look for high water this weekend (3 to 4 units).. so beefing up to 6 or 8 to jig fish (while drifting) is probably what " I " would do....
  21. Gary... Let me know the next time you head down there... Got a "New" fly for you to try... ITS AWESOME!!! Leonard.. Heres my new phone number. 417-334-0497
