  1. Busy day just getting to post... Met up with Steven around 8:30.. water had just shut down.. a little wind (ok breezy).. we started at outlet 2 with some scuds and midges hooking up a few. as the water dropped out we headed to the gaunlet stripping some hibernators.. lots of small/avg fish we headed up top to the flat.... big and better fish.. we started really catching them on Hibernators, H20's and OH YES....... The PMS! we HAMMERED them on the olive PMS most fish were in the 15-18in .. even got a couple to take it off the top.... if you strip it fast enough they will "bust" the top of the water like a bass... this is so freaking cool to see at night! It really didnt seem to matter if we stripped it... drifted it... or even let sink to the bottom. A few times as we cast out and made the first strip to tighten the line we had fish on.. All in all a very good night!
  2. Caught a few on the olive PMS and the rest on the black PMS I got there about 7:30 and fished outlet 2 for a bit... caught maybe 25-30 on the midge scud combo.. after the water shut down.. I switch over to the black/purple/red hibernator and picked up 7or 8.. switched to the Olive H20 and caught 5.. switch .... purple H20 caught 2.... tossed around the new "Mood Swing" and got 3 (not bad ) **********The Mood Swing.... this was its first night on the water... ****** all in all... probably caught close to 45-50 fish for the night..
  3. some of the changes are nice... new spots to fish and seems like more area to fish... I mean this like more shore line and wadeable water. ROCK.... noticeable? 15. http://www.templeforkflyrods.com/products/rods/signature.html TFO 7 Wt. 9'-0" (2 piece) In my opinion.. This is a GREAT rod..
  16. Paul... I'll post it next month... (sorry for the wait).. waiting on material Jim.. My set-up is simple.. 9ft 7wt... 9ft leader (6lbs or 8lbs) Maxima ultragreen mono wt forward floating line... small bead for weight.. and the striping and drifting all depends on the mood of the fish... Out again last night with Dylan.. didnt d as well as the night before but we did hook up on a lot of fish... it seem they wanted it barely moving and would strike on the pause.. or just a complete dead drift
  17. Its a second version of a Hibernator ..... Hibernator + (Rainy's barred) legs = H20 The added legs pushes the water more... It has worked very well most conditions Rainy, foggy, full moons, and dark over cast.. Ive even caught a couple during the day Its has "off-set" color of legs..some colors I have found to work.. Black/Red Uv with red barred legs Olive/olive Uv with Olive flake Purple/red Uv with red barred legs Brown?Uv Brown with brown flake There is a few more colors.. but.. Im still trying different color of legs out These are probably my favorite....
  18. YES ... I went fishing last night hit the water about 10:30pm and stayed till about 1am water off... raining... and the temps were not that cold... started just below outlet 2 with a red hibernator.. catching 5in about 15 minutes.. long drifts and you could feel it rolling the bottom... switched to a PMS (olive).. 3 fish... then black.. a couple of bumps.. no hook ups.. went back to a hibernator black... 5 more fish.... then the rain got a little harder.... switched to a H20... WOW IT WAS ON! non stop for about the next hour and a half.. hooked up over 60+ fish and called it a night had 8 fish in the 18-19inch mark... 4 fish took the top water hit... AWESOME sight to see at night.. most everything else was 13 to 17 inches.. oh yeah... I got the CRAP scared out of me by a freaking beaver... I kept looking down stream to see the riffles the new rocks make... I noticed something sticking out of the water... as I kept watching it ... it never moved for what seemed like a hour.... I was thinking it was a rock. As I got closer to it I turned my light on and it blinked at me and jumped into the water... I was about 20feet way... I was done fishing!
  19. getting down to the wire... just a few weeks away.. we do need to start narrow down the list so we dont have a whole bunch of 1 thing.. Darin.. If you want to bring something... just keep your eyes on the list (1st post) and go from there.. If you make something good then throw it together and bring it...

  23. Always stop off at Tim's... Just to pick on him
  24. In most places its deep enough for fish to swim... For the most part... you can see the bottom all the way through...
  25. I can bring a croc-pot... may have to put a little something in there.. I believe there is a electrical outlet in the bathroom... does anyone have any extra cord (probably looking at 100ft cord)
