Thanks Trav..i'm still learning how to navigate this site, the information was useful. Looks like the pomme had some rough springs the last few years, lots of flooding. I'll go up the pomme river and lindley creek next week, supposed to be really warm all week with rain one day. A day ago we got a couple of inches in one night, dirtied up the water pretty good. There are a lot of dying shad all over the lake, so finding a lure that looks "easier" than those "perfect" ones might be futile. I just want to get on the water before i have to leave town for work! I'll be in El dorado KS for 10 weeks beginning march 14th, but i'll be back on the weekends. Thank God there's a good lake out there that i can fish too, i caught so many whites out there on el dorado lake one year, couldnt tell you how many, in two days it had to be well over 100, every single cast. I'll post and let ya'll know how it goes up the creeks and pomme river next week. Thanks.
