Hey all, I was just wondering if anyone has participated in either the boater or co-angler side of BFL tournaments. I've never fished in one, but I'm considering fishing Truman in June and Lake of the Ozarks in September. Any input would be appreciated, I just was curious if these tournaments provide a good experience (especially on the coangler side). Thanks

Thanks for the tip... I'll be heading down there this weekend to do a little crappie and bass fishing, so hopefully the crappie are still biting good.

The Chartreuse Shad color is what I ended up catching it on...Lucky Crafts are great but they are pretty pricey; I've been wanting to get a few megabass jerkbaits, but at $25 a piece they are even more ridiculous than Lucky Crafts.

Yep, she definitely had a hefty gut...my buddy had an old scale that weighed her in at 4lbs, but i wouldn't be surprised if she was slightly heavier than that. Did anyone catch much in the way of white bass this past weekend?

Well I finally made the 5 hour trip down to table rock this past weekend. A buddy and I fished up around Eagle Rock hoping to lay into some white bass, but the weather made it tough to find them in any great numbers. However, we did get into some nice spotted bass; including this chunky ol' gal I caught on a lucky craft pointer 100 off of a secondary point. This was by far the biggest spot I have ever caught.

Thanks guys, i'm planning on fishing mostly jerkbaits. We'll see how it goes, I've also been hearing pretty good crappie reports so I may have to fish for them a little as well. Good luck to you all if your heading out this weekend.

Thanks, I'm definitely going to get the polarized oakleys. Has anyone heard anything on the "fishing specific" shallow blue lenses that oakley offers? -
I'm looking at buying a new pair of fishing sunglasses. I know the costa 580's have become the standard, but I have been looking into Oakley straight jackets in either the shallow blue lenses or black iridium...Any thoughts?

I've been hearing a lot about how Stockton is a good walleye fishery. I was just wondering what the size and walleye numbers where like here; along with the generally best locations and times to catch walleye in the lake.
