Hey Walleyedmike, you said my buddy would spend a couple of bucks on walleye tackle.Well------------ he just caled to tell me he just ordered 8 packs of 25#1 slow deaths and 2 packs of 25#2!!!!!!! im telling you he had a great time at stockton. What do you think?

We used a 5/8 oz. bottom bouncer seemed to pick up subtle bites. points didnt seem any better.17 - 20 ft. of water was the key. Wind blown banks.

Just got settled in from the stockton trip. We caught plenty of walleye in the 20 foot range on bottom bouncers and the slow death!!!!!wow was that a neat set up. they just loved it . My friend enjoyed the lake and I think he is hooked on the walleye. The slow death rig hooked him,he is talking about buying walleye tackle. Caught other species including some nice crappie,big whites,14" blacks,goggleye,blue g's,.Roark area was a good choice even though i like the dam area.THE WEATHER WAS PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been staying at the southwinds for 5 or 6 years now.Dale is a super guy and has taught me a bunch about the lake and stockton walleye.Just thought i would try to get any other info i could!Trying to get my buddy on a great eye trip.Oh,on the PS thing.Sorry but we are bringing the fish fryer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coming down sun.-tues. with a fishing buddy who has never been to Stockton! Never fished for Walleye either. He is super pumped to say the least. Staying in Roark area,but like to fish Dam area also.Which area is better this time of year?Water conditions after last days rain?We are coming from St. Louis and we are trying to hit this the best we can.Any info would be helpful and i thank you in advance!!!!! Hey skinny,thanks for the info but i missed your reply. We left in a hurry trying to miss the wind. We ended up in soap and caught some nice crappie before the wind threw us across the lake. It wasn't that bad until this morning!We had a great time and we are having fish for dinner tonight. Once again THANKS!!!!!!!!!

Hey skinny, Heading down this afternoon with my 15 yr old son who is on spring break. What part of the lake are you fishing? We are thinking about putting in at coffman. Trying to get him on some good crappie.Any info would help and i appreciate it greatly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
