  1. Sounds good, I'll close this post down if it sells before then. Thx
  2. Great...Thx J-Doc
  3. No screws...it's 3M adhesive & a silicone bead to seal it. The LED strips are not rated to be 'submersible' but the waterline is well below where the strips are layed. I've ran these for 2 years with no issues...they work great
  4. New baby and not enough time to get on the water...figured I'd post here to see if I get any bites. Thx http://fayar.craigsl...4677491416.html
  5. Thanks for all the info guys. I'll try to make a trip to get some tackle this week or next before we head out. I'll be sure to take some pics if we get into them.
  6. Another question about trout fishing. My understanding is you have to use barbless hooks and artificial bait...but what if I'm fishing for walleye or white bass? Can I throw a jerkbait or something that has barbs on it?
  7. Heading to Spider Creek w/ my family next week. I'm more of a bass fisherman so any tips for trout would be greatly appreciated. I have a 9 yr old daughter that is looking forward to catching some fish. Any specific tackle I should get before the trip? Or any honey holes someone want to share? Thx
  8. Launched @ Viola at 6:07, first fish in the boat within 5 minutes. We worked our way out to the mouth of the Kings hitting wind protected banks and throwing spooks and the occasional chug bug. Eventually ran up by Shell Knob bridge and caught a few more there. Turned back to Viola around 11:30 and had our 100th fish by 12:30, worked our way back to the ramp and ended up with 110 total, 10 keepers and a lot of 13's and 14's.
  9. Thank you for your service; I'm making more of an effort to slow down and enjoy life
  10. Life has a funny way of making a big circle sometimes. A few weekends ago I was blessed w/ the opportunity to take my dad fishing; something we don't do near enough anymore. We were fortunate to get on a few good crappie and it was like a role reversal from my childhood...he was like a kid in a candy store. As I worked to keep the boat steady he hauled in a few of these toads and we scooted back to the house to reminisce. I look forward to our next trip, probably wade a few creeks like we did when I was a boy.
  11. Highly recommend Tapatalk Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  12. Thanks guys, I read a report that they are between 412 and Neal's Bluff?? (I think near Beav-O-Rama maybe?) I'll probably launch @ 412 and check out that area just north/south of the bridge. Thanks! Any more tips are greatly appreciated! Been too long since I've fished w/ the old man. Looking forward to it.
  13. Looking to take my dad white bass fishing. It's been years since I've hit them on their run. Anyone know where they're at? I have a Tracker TX17 and would like to avoid the shoulder to shoulder crowds. Thanks!
