I don't live any where near the lake but it looks like alot of the rain is going south of the lake. So I thought I would ask you guys if the lake is filling up. The lake report I see is 4 days old.

Hey Straw Hat, My uncle owns a big fish farm in AR. and we deal with water temp. all the time. The spawn can spoil if the weather hits wrong and stays wrong. But they have a good month yet before it would really mess them up. They can stage for quit some time before they absorb the eggs back in. It can happen but we will have to wait and see. My buddies were there the 18th and 19th they caught 25 keepers and 10 shorts and 5 walleye on the 18th that is on top of killing a turkey that morning. The 19th they spooked their turkey and then went fishing til noon. They caught 5 keepers and 3 shorts along with 1 walleye in about an 1 1/2 hours. They were just down from CC 17 feet of water and fishing 5 feet down. I will be back up there in a week from today so save me a few hope to see ya on the water.

I have been reading on the forums for along time and thought I should let you know what we found this last weekend. We fished CC bridge Sat. we were the 2nd boat to launch at the CC bridge and the other guys took off down lake. We fished under the bridge and out the other side for most of the morning. We had very little luck at all that morning. We took a break and went in and ate a late breakfast and picked up our wives and went back to the bridge. We fished the down side of the bridge that afternoon and had better luck. We only caught one on a minnow and the rest came on a Crappie Magnet. We through a lot of others but that is the only thing we found them on. We picked a lot of shorts but ended up with nine. There were to guys tied to the bridge that gave us two more on their way out. So a total of 11 for supper. The bite picked up a bunch after 6:30 p.m. We were bumping the bottom with the Magnets. and ofter had four on at a time. Our wives would real in one and us the other. They pretty much laid in the boat and read books until we would get on fish and they would help real them in. We had to get back and truly left them biting. We fished until around 7:30 the only colors we found them on was Black/ Chartreuse and White w/ Blue & Silver Flake. Hope that helps someone out.
