I take this that they will be running so water more then likely so using a boat is the best bet? so your saying fishing in day light 5 or 6x tippiet will catch u big 8 or 10 ib brown just fine?
When you guys are targeting the big browns in OCT are you guys using 8wt rods with full sink or sink tip? when you guys catch these bigger fish what size tippiet are you using? Thanks for the info.

Been looking at corland 333 line but I heard good things about the rio gold. I like the price of cortland though. How good is the cortland line and what is the differnce in this 40 line compared to the 80 line
Im really new to the fly tying world learning what I know on my own. Im confused as I see wolly bugger recipes call for saddle hackle but I thought that saddle hackle was for dry flies. So is this hen hackle or what? Help me clearifly this problem please
Is a TFO 5wt to small to throw streamers with? kind of just need to some advice on what you guys use done in this area to throw articulated streamers later in the year when the big brown start to run. I have heard that 5wt is big enough and Then I have heard to have at least 8wt. Thanks for the help and input.
How long of tippet are you guys down on taney using with a sinking leader to strip streamers? Should I get a sink tip or are the sinking leaders just as good? Thanks
