  1. Great condition. No pics at the moment but will later. $175 shipped. I may be listing several omens later on but I'm not sure yet if my budget will allow me to replace them.
  2. I imagine I will.
  3. Did I read that the goggle eye get pretty good sized down lake? Seems like I read they set 15" or something like that. I could dull a blade on a mess of those.
  4. Sooooooo anyone with a differing opinion is attacking? Sounds about right for the attitude of the general population today. I'm not saying you're tournament organization has the capacity, know how, want to, finances, or number of workers to run multiple weigh stations. I am saying it would make an impact positively. If that hurts your feelings then you'll get over it or you won't. A station a Campbell point or shell knob would absolutely offer a ton more options and lighten the fishing pressure. It's a fact. Also since you bright up Big Bass Bash. They run multiple weigh stations. I realize their agenda is different but nevertheless. Now more on attacks. This is the first I've mentioned weigh stations. I had a question before about a redundant rule that I got confirmation about my suspicion on. Other than that this is the first "attacking" I've done. Hopefully other forums treat you much better than us individually minded users of OAF.
  5. It's been said a thousand times, more weigh stations.
  6. Sounds like grand lake on a typical weekend
  7. Two will lock you straight and more solid but one is still a huge improvement over none. You won't do circles but you will turn with the current with a single pole. Basically just like a flag in the wind more or less. Even crappie fishing this year it was awesome to have. I'm also looking forward to using it next weekend catfishing with my boys.
  8. Talons are easier to install. No leaks to worry about. Less height. Poles have great customer service from what I've heard. Can be lowered out of the way (biggest advantage). I have a single 8' talon and like it a lot. Can't wait to get another.
  9. Awesome! Sounds like you're dialed in then.
  10. Was wondering about them too. It's about that time.
  11. Good man right there. I quit fishing Sunday tournaments for that exact reason. Nobody else is going to teach my boys the right order of priorities. I will say if Grand is to far you need to move. Unless you're close enough to Texas lakes, but still. If you have Facebook check out the GLAFC. Great great series. 100% payback, they feed you, they preach the gospel before every tournament. It's quite a deal. As far as the talons always get two if you can and get 12's if you can. The outside dimensions are almost the same as my eights which is really cool. A single one is great but two would just be awesome. I know it's a big pill to swallow but you won't regret it. They'll come in handy for so many situations that you don't even think of. It has allowed me to expand the use of my boat. I hope you have side imaging graphs so I don't have to poison your mind over those too.
  12. I have a single eight footer and wish I had another. So far I've used the heck out of the thing, even on table rock. I'm already angling to the wife for two twelves. If I push two twelves long enough buying another eight won't seem so bad.
  13. That the tentative plan. I fish the Grand Lake Anglers for Christ tournaments on Grand and there's one this Saturday. It's kinda up in the air now but still the plan.
  14. Well there's your problem right there. Just fish. That's it. I realize you live in the land of spotted bass and golf courses but still you should know better.
  15. Nice rig man! Oddly enough I'll be in OK Saturday and hopefully Friday too.
  16. I was wondering the other day why not feathers? Especially orange ones.
  17. Why's that? That've been out for like 10 years.
  18. Is that a golf hat?
  19. Jump on bassboatcentral
  20. Nope it makes them shallow and by wood or tight to bushes if it's available. As rps mentioned sometimes the dirt is actually just a layer on top but the water is actually clear underneath.
  21. You can't go wrong with crickets and crawlers but for yourself the topwater should be rocking and rolling while your here. Throw a spook and believe. Ned it up when that bites done. I did see some Ned paraphernalia at Springfield bps this weekend but not the good heads like dtrs makes. They had the TRD "worms" though. With any luck the water will be in the bushes this weekend and it could be really really good. I assume you all have been getting good rain down there this weekend right?
  22. Ah yea that makes more sense. I didn't know if you meant May 2015 or March 2016 lol.
  23. I say you're gonna have a disappointed grandkid. What date did you have in mind again?
  24. Eh it's still relevant so it's all good.
  25. And if I gut shoot a robin and a grizzly bear the results will vary.
