  1. I'm an IPA fan, where can I get some monkey?
  2. Sure they are, and so are short boats, I just hang on to the Yamaha and tuck the Johnson
  3. I hope Mr. Pillow likes pillow biting!!!
  4. Its a good mix, most of my good flats are caught early in the summer.
  5. James River I've tossed at small coves and nothing. I stay with my rovers and it tells the tale. Right when the first one hits i toss a marker, it seems to pay off. Where are you tossing?
  6. Let me start out, there should be no issue catching bait, my first toss profited four pounds of 5 inch shad- I tossed half of them back. Tossed off six scouting and six anchored in 15 foot of water, and could keep the gar off, but once I got into the cats it was on! I seemed to be eating time around 8- 11 it shutoff went to hit another spot and had to tow another about four miles so called it quits 15 ft anchored 25 ft main Bait - cut shad Oh and it anyone from republic is missing a Walmart yellow noddle I have it, that is all I can read, buy a f-in Sharpe
  7. If you do use this method it a great way of marking your line with your information, take a sharpie and write your info on the bottle or wrap it in duct tape and toss on your Herbie Hancock. Reflective trap can also be used on this marker, it help you find it at night and helps boater avoid it.
  8. You all good, I don't take this site and the spats personally. I do believe some folks do, its just not me, take care and fish on!
  9. You the dip$h1t taking about shooting boats. I still reserve the right to always be right, it makes me American.
  10. So you think shooting someone is the appropriate way to handle someone picking up a pretention trash in the water? Weather I'm canoeing or boating I try to come back to the landing with more then I started with. Do you really think that someone would attempt to steal a non-moving jug that is sitting solo, or are they just picking up trash - or in a trotlines case they are hung up on the line and attempting to retrieve their bait.? I've ran lines my whole life, but only tossed jugs for a few years- I've never had an issue with anyone stealing or bothering any of my equipment. The reason I quoted this post- Really? Really? Shooting over a moving boat, do you really need to ask if that's a good idea- oh and if you do please tell me you didn't bred.
  11. Do you send money when you see the diseased puppies or the kids with flies in there eyes crying on TV? Its only 35 cents a day, how much extra to you give the lake you use every weekend or day? Those fish are like dead puppies on chains, or kids slowly dilapidating! That might be overboard but I never see anyone stop to pick up a floating piece of trash or remove lines lined to trees that are just a hazard, but no one can say that about me, I even remove floating hazards over to the shoreline, especially if I'm coming back through that way at night.
  12. I hope I do cross paths with people like this, you think i'm checking these lines because I want the fish? I'm just tired of seeing fish floating on jugs or lines for multiple days in a row, so to answer your question "Took" nope I attempted to save a few fish, feed the turtles, and cleaned up some trash!
  13. Let's clean it up! Its so cheap to tie a piece of orange marker tape around what ever it your using for a base and put your info on it. People are always worried about people knowing their line spots, well if theirs shows up missing because they don't mark it made it will sink in. Maybe carry a sharpie and leave leave a short on some tape where you cut it.
  14. Fishing and hunting isn't the cheapest way to provide table fare. After boat, tags, license insurance, and gas- I could be eating Walmarts best for decades.
  15. Its both, but he gets sideways pretty easy.
  16. I can't agree with you more on that, most don't have the time or the energy but like to brag about numbers on the line. How many fish does one family really need? Like the guy or girl who is jugging the mouth of point 15 every day for years, I just don't get it. I'm glad to see there is a people out there with Respect for the water and land!
  17. Its just the mentality of a few, but your girls are easy to rattle. Wrench, you don't bother me a bit, well maybe your lifestyle but we won't get into that;) I think its great that have a name for a guy like you on forums "Flaming Troll". Keep up the trapping Trophy FishR, these guys will just cross talk for pages.
  18. It sounds like you, and your son are having a blast, who can knock that? Oh Old Plug and the LOZ gang! Keep up the stories they are funny, and your son will have a lifetime of memories.
  19. Location: Less than a mile up river past the Walnut Spring ramp I went up river on Saturday afternoon and just past where the river narrows, well short of McCord corner I saw a large fish floating, so I did what anyone would do, I stopped to browse but the smell got the best of me quickly. Before I pulled away another boater trolled up to location and stated that the fish was there for days, and said that he sees that allot on the same line. I'm fairly sure the regulations says you have to check your lines every 24 hours, plus if your running lines in this high temp water you should be checking them way more often, otherwise they nearly boil. I really hope that someone outs you on here, just wanted to let you know I'm removing your trotline its not tagged (also a regulation), I checked because I was going to call you! Yellow rope west side of the river about a hundred or so yards from where the river narrows. If you want your trotline back it will be with the Stone County MDC, D-Bag!
  20. I see them allot in the fall in the same spots, they aren't afraid of much, not even Wake boats scare them off the water.
  21. I love it you girls are so easily rattled, no direction or restraint.
  22. Fishinwrench don't get me started on you. Especially on this post
  23. If this site doesn't get back some sort of basics, I have a near 20 year IT back ground this can be duplicated and improved with proper mediators. I've been approached.
  24. I thought this forum was about fishing not bitching. I really think you guy like to see your spoken word in writing because it seems more tangible. This is the same post from two months ago about wake boat or another about bow fishing. Come the f%$k on, is anyone fishing and catching anything? Im thinking about buying a wakeboat with a bow fishing platform and cutting every bass boat off drunk so I can see post about me!
