Can we still get Jet pumps for them?

I've been looking to get a new spinning rod for fishing out of my canoe, pontoon boat on the river or the lake with my buddy in his boat. We go out for crappie, smallmouth, largemouth, trout. I have a bunch of light or ultralite tackle but want a med lite or med 6' or 6 1\2' rod. Which might be the best? 6' or 6 1\2'? Never had a 6 1\2' before.

I got a new pair of Orvis Encounter waders and have wore them once. I have never sweated more. My old cheap neopremes and my real good Orvis Silver Series waders never was this bad. They have sit in the closet for over a year and wonder if I should send them back or just use them in the winter time. Is there any out there that is better? I wish they would still make the Silver Series again. I loved them but mine is too small now. Has anyone else had this problem?

The Big Piney maps say there is a couple dams about the 66 mile on the river. Can they be run with a jet boat? Been on it before but never up that far.

Then I'm sure I can find it. And I can use my jet boat there? 60\40 jet. I've seen outfitters above ackers have jets back in the day picking up stranded people that tore up canoes.

Fishinwrench, Where is parker? Can't find it on the Missouri map or the Missouri Ozark Waterways book from the Conservation Department.

Is there outfitters there that will transfer my truck for me or pick me up and my pontoon and gear and take me back to my truck? The pontoon will fit in a 8ft bed no problem. Just let out a little bit of air.

Can I float the river from just below Montauk with my Jon Boat with a jet motor? I'd love to use my canoe but I'm just getting to old for that. Not in very good shape any more.

Wonder how much those bolt on whale tail things help out of the hole and if they are in the way in shallow water? anyone use them?

I'm from the lower Mermec River area around the Pacific area and now I live in the upper area around Steelville. Havent been on the river here much so Ihave to ask you guys, is there any Spoonbill up here? I asume there is but I don't know. I know more about the Trout here then I do catfish and spoonbill. Hope this isn't a dumb question.

I'm looking to get a new boat this year and want the alweld 1752 pro jon but I wonder about the 60\40 jet. Is that engine enough to carry 3 adults or should I be thinking the 65 jet?

Can anyone tell me where to put in on the North Fork for good floating for browns and how many hours it takes to float it or is it an over night trip? I use a Fish cat 9 pontoon boat I just got and don't really know what to expect. Would like to partner up sometime but don't know how to make it happen.

Is there trouble camping below Hwy 8, canoeing and fishing. Tried canoeing it before and didn't get to fish much and got to Scotts Ford right at dark. I'd rather just camp.

I've been wondering if my Sage XP 590 will handle big streamers with a standard 6 wt. line. I have been using it ith an old XPS 6wt. line and it works good. Just have never tried to cast big streamers yet. I do use it to cast full sink type 2 and type 5 line. Just have been using them with cracklebacks and that stuff.

Is there any kind of boat motor hp and jet boat regulations from tan vant on down thru the trout area on the upper current?

I am building a new boat, trying to do it as cheap as I can. I have an '83 80hp merc. I bought new on a small bassboat and it has hardly been used but the boat is mostly gone. Wood floors. Still I wonder if the motor is good. Was when I parked it 20 yraes ago. Also I have a brand new mini cota trolling motor that was mounted and never used. Hand controlled. Also 2 Lowrance flashers and an x15 graph. I am looking at Lowe Roughneck 1860sc boats. NO WOOD. Also in BPS they have the Lowrance Hook 5 splitshot for $329 to replace the x15. So what do you guys think? Will the motor be good? Can I used the new and the old on the same boat? And should I? I think it would be a good enough rig. What do you think?

I've never fished Council Bluff but want to try the crappie there. How is it there?

I want to fish the Big Piney and other rivers in the area but I don't know where the public boat ramps are. Is there a Conservation map with ramps marked? Don't know what my next move is.

I just mean not slow enough that it is at an idle. At speed I just want to read depth. Could in my old boat with a in dash flasher. I know he has to slow down to get good fish readings. Anyway, thanks for the conservation.
