  1. I'm new to flyting and flyfishing.I've been tying woolly buggers and have a good idea about streamers.Anybody want to suggest flies that will work on the niangia?not just for trout, i fish for everything.

  4. it's tough for me.actually i can catch all the 14 and 3/4 or smaller i want but keepers are tough.rumour has it the big fish are really deep but i can't find them.the first two posts covered the patterns well.

  6. i'm looking for somebody to help with gas.crappie and whites have been good.bass and walleye not so good.
  7. lots of crappie being caught.every depth and bait.they been running water most days.

    caught all mine in the middle of the creek again.most were big females with eggs.most everyone else was fishing shallower but again they said the bite was better early and late.just goes to show ya more than one way.....this was near bucksaw.
  11. truman is not near the bass lake loz is and i've always heard that blamed on the fluctuating water levels.i know it's for flood control, just sayin.i don't know why the crappie do so well and the bass don't.
  12. don't know.....i can't get the regatta report to work anymore since they changed the site.the usa bassin is may 13 if somebody else can figure it out.

    they move shallow to feed especially at dark but i haven't heard of any spawners yet.could be any time but it's been more consistent out a little bit to the channels.just what i hear.....

  15. was gonna go this morn but partner cancelled.we got 4th in the all seasons sun.couldn't get our 5th in the boat.caught 'em front to back but it was kind of tough.sat was tougher tho only one keep.there were two 7 's wieghed in but not alot of fish over all. haven't been after crappie but hear it's still good. i'm planning on going after bass sat morn if anybody needs a ride.

  17. that's how it was for me there last year....lot's of bites but tough to get a limit.

  20. i wasn't far from bucksaw.i heard they were tearing them up at otter.i was fishing 10 ft down in 12 to 20 ft. how did you do on the bass up there?i've caught a few lower lake. i'm looking forward to this weekend.....let's see how it changes.
  21. most of the females are still schooled up in the creek channels....at least for me.caught them spider rigging/drift fishing

  24. didn't get to go partner couldn't make it.been a problem all year(s)!i don't like to go alone this time of year.anybody that can go let me know, especially during the week. thanks for the advice ranger.i've been staying up around bucksaw but i may move on down.i blame it on the colder, dirty rain water.that's my excuse, anyway!it was the first bad trip in a while.
