We went to Bois D arc saturday and sunday. saturday was good, we did not limit out, but 1 killed 5 and only found 3. between the 10 of us we got about 70 birds. and it was crowded, i got peppered with shot a couple of times. sunday the birds were GONE. same place! there was six of us this morning and we only killed 4 total. 2 of those were mine. there just were no birds flying. here are a couple of pics of the little man. he is almost 9 and i convienced mama to let me take him out on his first dove shoot.

WOW..I was fishing Monday morning and saw it with my own 2 (20/20) eyes. I landed a 21 inch bow around 1030am Monday. I saw several browns that were cruising around and very large.

did they survive the lighting strikes?

Just a question - what's your favorite way to photo a trout you just caught ? As it is sizzling in the frying pan, with the bacon popping around it!!! J/K-If I am by myself, I try to take the photo of the head, as i am releasing it. If its a REAL nice fish, I try to find someone nearby that could take a photo of me with the fish, then release it.

I have caught smallies down in the Bull Creek area, i think the area is the cornfield (someone correct me if i am wrong) but there are some bluffs back there and some docks on the other side that i have them in. the only thing that bothered me about being back there were the snakes. i had one drop from a tree into my boat a few years ago and after i swam back to the boat, i resumed fishing

I will usually try and find a spot that has several choices to fish (pool, eddy, riffle, structure, etc) and i will cast to each spot several times, and if the hits are spotty or not there at all, I will move. One of the big things I learned is to not just get out of your car and jump in the water (unless you are fishing at snaglet #2 I tend to watch the water for a couple of minutes, see what the fish are doing (surface feeding, no rises, etc) and try to get a look into the water and see where they are stacked up. Then I make my decision on what fly to use and go from there.

It's just a guess...but I dont think mama would allow that to happen since we already purchased the plane tix and booked the hotel.

We will be staying for about a week in the Orlando area starting on June 12th. I will have 1 full day to do some fishing. Anyone have any info on something close to Orlando where I can get some fly fishing in?

I fished Friday for a couple of hours with some success. Got to meet Stumbler and Ducky in the parking lot as they were headed to the Friday night strip club with Leonard. I got in the water Saturday morning around 1030 or so and the trout must have been talking to DR Kevorkian because they did not stop biting until I left for work around 3pm. I fished above outlet #1 on the south side of the water fishing into the holes and worked my way to about 50 feet or so of the cable. I started off with a nymph I picked up from Anglers & Archers, not sure what it is called but it worked! They stopped hitting that around 1 pm so i tied on a chocolate colored midge and caught the remainder of my 50+ fish on it. I had 2 brand new RIO leaders fail. I was using 6x tapered leaders and they both broke off about 3 ft from the end. Both times they broke, I was onto a fish that was about 30-40 ft out. I was making long casts but the fish didnt seem big enough to break my leader off. Anyone have any ideas? Sunday morning i was in the water at 915, (same place as saturday) started off with the chocolate midge with only 1 fish landed. Lots of sipping off the surface so i tied on a grey wd 40 and had 3 on with 2 landed. then nothing until i tied on the fly from A&A and i got wore out. at one point i had 6 fish on 6 casts, then 5 on 5, and 2 streaks of 4 on 4. The fog was very dense and when it lifted i was AMAZED to see how many people were in the water and on the banks. i thought i was going to get smacked on a cast trying to get out of the water. All in all it was a great fishing weekend, nothing over 18 inches but lots and lots of fish commiting suicide on my hooks! This guy was fishing too. Foggy sunday morning

I cant understand something. If you file a police report, give them the plate #, they may not actively go after the guy, but they should at least run the plate, which that information would be in the report, which you can get a copy of due to the Freedom of Information act. Anyone should be able to go to their police department and ask to see the latest police reports. Some reports they will not give out like rape, child abuse, things like that, but I dont think that a gas drive off falls into that catagory.

I do NOT agree with confiscation of private property! I can't believe so many Americans have become so accepting of this unconstitutional practice. under Missouri law, seized property cannot be auctioned off until its owner has been convicted of a crime. He is charged with a felony and the property was used during the commision of a crime. It now belongs to the town, county, state, federal govt. Thanks for playing, we will take YOUR ball and go home now. I have no sympathy for him.

Why not take away his fishing & hunting license in MO and surrounding states for 2 years, fine him, take his gear that he had when he was caught cheating, including the boat and donate it to a charity, like the boys & girls club or something like that. I think that would send a message, use this SOB as an example.
