A secured crate with tilted rod holders (angled not straight up like mine) on a crate adds more rod holders to your Coosa without drilling more holes in the boat. If your in the Branson area, Stop by Ozark Extreme Outdoors, we'll show you what we have in Stock and let you test drive the kayak right there on Table Rock.

I've pounded on my Lew's American Hero 300 threw 4 tournaments(and 4 practice days) and several other trips, and it's still like new. -
If you don't have something nice or productive to say, keep it to yourself. It's called restraint, I refrain from contributing to conversations like that, here or other social sites.

Pitching Docks and frogging the weeds
Moswimb8slinger replied to Moswimb8slinger's topic in Lower Taneycomo
Yeah, that was from Table Rock last week, i accidentally hit it when i was uploading pics. I've caught them in Taneycomo before, but not on a frog in the weeds.lol -
Caught plenty of Bass from Roarke creek down to empire Park. Pitching black and blue and bluegill colored chatterbaits around docks and throwing a hollow body frog around the weed mats at the entrance of coves. Biggest 2 were 3lbs and 4lbs. The 4 flopped out of the kayak before i got a picture but it was 20.25 inches on the board. It took 14lbs to win the Branson Bass Club tournament yesterday, but I was unable to locate the same gish from the back of a bass boat like I had the day before from my kayak.
-
The gizzard shad are one reason why I have such good luck with the swimbaits in the cooler months. I'd say once the water temp hits 65 degrees and below.
-
-
Of course, when everybody else is throwing jerkbaits, I'm throwing the bbz1 jr or the s-waver, but reeling them painfully slow. Especially when the water has 20ft plus visability. Ledges and big boulders is where i usually find them.

Let's Talk Smallmouth Lures...

He does have a hard time keeping up with orders. As he molds and tunes every single bait. I haven't put my name on the list for one nor have I seen one in action, but they do look great.

Here's my picks for smallies. For small waters (bull, swan, beaver creek) 4 inch straight tail worm (shakeyhead) either brown or green with chartuese tipped tail. Zara puppy 1/8oz jig and craw, either green pumpkin/brown or brown/orange My Personal Best Smallie (est 6lbs by measurements) was caught on a brown/orange bitsy bug and orange craw in Roarke Creek in Branson. My big water picks(Table Rock Lake) spinbait 80/90 River2Sea S-waver 168/200 in Party Crasher or Warden. Spro BBZ1 Jr, either floater or slow sink in Lavender Shad Or Blue Herring. I'll use the small water stuff when the bite is really tough on the lake but I've caught too many smallies over 3lbs on the swimbaits to put them down. -
Not sure, I never used the one I got from BPS catalog store enough to find out. I threw it once and threw it in the closet, luckily it only cost me like $8.
-
Made in the USA, i understand. But Bill is a buddy of mine and I'll have to defend him on that stand point. You want to know whose a real steaming turd, the Morgans(morgan swimbaits). They're the worst facebook/cyber bullies I've ever seen. They'll jump down a swimbait newbies throat like they had set their dog on fire.

Hopefully it swims better than their last attempt. The Pointer 170, has a 45 degree hinge and didn't swim/glide worth a crap.
