  1. Brush piles on the main lake, good luck.
  2. Put in at State Park at 8 and fished till 2. Only 3 bass, 2 keepers, caught bass on s.bait, jerkbait, and AL rig. Ended up catching a nice mess of crappie in 27 fow. Foggy as all day, 48 degree water and no wind. Tight Lines!
  3. What is the water temp now?
  4. Thanks Redshad, maybe we can hit the water together one day.
  5. I fished up at Pomme today and it was tough up there too. Caught maybe a dozen with 2 little keepers. Needed that wind!
  6. Good luck Dutch, let us know how you do. George, all you have to do is call me. It's been pretty hot!
  7. It's about time, bass are really hitting! Out of State Park again, on the water by 6:15, nice limit by 7:00........all within site of the launch ramp!!! Pretty hard South wind today but that really made them hit that spinner bait. Water temp was 58, sunny skies. The wind was my friend. Tight Lines.
  8. Great day on the water! Put in at State Park at first light and fished till 4:00. Ended up with 5 nice keeper crappie on small jigs over by Masters. The spinner bait bite was ON this afternoon, best 5 went 14 lbs. Windy main lake points with deep water close by was the ticket. 60 degree water with winds 15 out of the N.W. Tight Lines!
  9. Fished out of Mutton, 7:30 to 5:00. Buddy and I caught roughly 40 largemouth and kentuckys. Found most all our bass on bluff ends in 15 to 20 feet. Water in main lake was 60 to 64 degrees. PB&J jigs and finesse worms caught most of the fish. 4 keepers with the biggest one coming on a spinner-bait. Tight Lines!
  10. RB does have a sawhorse but a dozen of us were parked there yesterday, no issues.
  11. Tough day around masters. Fished a full 12 hours, 17 bass and 2 keeper crappie. Only caught the crappie because they wanted to hit a finess worm. Spent all day bass fishing. With the water 6' high and it being cloudy and overcast I just new I was going to hammer them up in the brush. I flipped jigs into the brush, threw flukes, floating worms, spinnerbaits, senkos, all into the brush and only averaged less than 2 fish an hour. I did catch a few in the brush on jigs and spinnerbaits but nothing like i thought I would. I also caught some on a c-rig out on secondary points. It was tough for me and it shouldn't have been, guess that's why they call it fishing!
  12. Thanks Spook, let's go fish again one of these days!
  13. Were you trolling Zara or just casting the Flicker?
  14. Yeah LOZ crappie are really doing well. Was up a few weekends ago with some friends and we ended up catching over 250, cleaned 125 of them. All of them were caught off one boat dock and casting off the point located next to the dock. Gravious Arm.
  15. Put the boat in (Mutton Creek) about 6:00 yesterday morning and fished till 3:00, water temps were 68 to 70. Caught 6 keeper crappie by 7:00 and then they shut off, at least the keepers did for us. Found the keepers in the back of a small cove in 7 fow and caught them on rubber jigs in white & blue. Ended up catching a few keeper bass on jigs and some smaller bass and small walleye on the crappie jig. Ended up being pretty windy but the lake was not real crazy on the holiday weekend.
  16. Fished Mutton yesterday and the water on the main lake towards the darn was very clear, water temps were 55 @ 9:ooam and close to 60 by late yesterday afternoon.
  17. Nope, I have a tourney up at Pomme.
  18. 9lb, let's go fishing sometime in the next few weeks. I have the time, when do you want me to pick you up?
  19. I looked and looked yesterday for beds but did not find any. I tried the floating worm but I could not get anything to come up and take it.
  20. Out of Mutton Creek about 9:00, beautiful day with no wind. Water temps from 55 to 60. Mainly fished for crappie, ended up catching 24 with only 5 keepers. We could not find any crappie on the banks, only over brush piles in 25 to 30 fow. We also caught a few bass on crankbaits and finess stuff. There were a bunch of boats out fishing for crappie & walleye, not much luck with the crappie but the walleye fishing seems to still be very strong. Tight Lines! Todd
  21. Nice! Headed up tomorrow for a full day on the water. Hope to find both crappie and bass starting to get active!
  22. Good Luck!
  23. Put in @ Mutton about 6:45 and fished till 4:00ish. Water temp at put in was 54 and found some water late in the afternoon that was 59. Wind was very light, cloudy until noon and then sunny skies. Fished within 3 miles of Mutton and ended up catching 9 bass(1 keeper), 6 crappie (1 keeper @ 15"), and 1 very nice walleye @ 23". Bass were caught on a mix of items, keeper was on a spinnerbait but the only bass to hit one, a few on finess/shakey head, and a few on jig. Crappie and the lone walleye were all caught on white jigs in 20 to 28 fow. If you are good enough with a jig AND have the patience you can find the bass in the middle of the flooded brush. The best is still to come...........I hope! Tight Lines, Todd
  24. Thanks for the report Bassmaster21, I also fished yesterday and will post a report. The lake level as of this morning is now 873, 6' above normal. I too will be fishing Stockton quite a bit in May, send me a message if you would like to fish together some time, we can take my boat if you want.
  25. Dennis, I was up yesterday and caught a number of short crappies in a brush pile up by Mutton that was currently in 28 fow. I also found another brush pile in 21 fow that I caught a beautiful 15" crappie on my first cast, however it was the only one that came out of that brush. Caught the crappie with white Bass Assassins. Both of these brush piles were in main lake cuts, message me if you need more information. Good Luck!
