  1. Thanks fishbait3, however Moore's is $100 a month. WOW this bass boating just gets more and more expensive......go figure huh!
  2. Dollar Bill, Any chance the market could be called anything else? I looked in the Yellow Pages and couldn't find anything listed for "Lakin's"?? Any help would be appreciated! Todd
  3. Dollar Bill, you don't know of any boat storage on the east side of town (Springfield) or the north end of town?? I know there is Classic Storage up off 65 & I-44 but they want $90 a month, crazy expensive! Anybody else have any suggestions on boat storage?
  4. Better today than yesterday, actually much better. Back on the water around the twin bridges area today. Caught over 20 blacks and 1 smallie, must of had 6 or 7 that would have kept. Best 5 would have gone 11 or 12 pounds, nothing big but at least it's picking up! Spent an hour or so crappie fishing with jigs and caught 3 keepers and 2 shorts. Most bass on brown/green jigs with a few on a white jerk bait. Best advice I can give you is to find the end of a bluff and fish it, they were stacked up on the ends today in about 12' of water. Water temp was 53 to 57 and most of the fish were actually caught where the wind wasn't blowing.......go figure. Going back up on Friday and expect it to be even better, come on 65 degree water!
  5. Was back up at Roark Bluff area today and had 54 to 57 degree water, the bite was much better today! Caught over 20 and would of had a small limit that went 12 pounds. Brown/Green Jigs, and white jerk baits. Even caught a few keeper crappie. Should only get better in the next few weeks! Yahoooooo!
  6. Fished for bass out of Ruark Bluff on Tuesday. Put in @ 11:30 and pulled out @ 5:30. Caught about a dozen blacks and one Kentucky. Most were caught on a brown jig in 4 to 8 foot of water in secondary pockets, also caught one on a white jerk bait and another couple on a crawdad wart. Out of the dozen or so bass one might have kept, not sure where the big ladies are? Talked to a number of crappie fishermen and nobody was catching. Heading back up this morning to try for crappie, if no crappie than we'll go for bass again. Tight Lines!
  7. Thanks for the information guys. I think I got it figured out, off to Stockton for the next 3 days to see if it all works. Look out bass & crappie! Todd
  8. I just bought a used bass boat that has old wires, transducers, and other misc. wiring. Is there somebody in the Springfield area that is good at electronics and would come to the house and help me with figuring out what goes where? Maybe a trade out for a fishing trip to Stockton???? Thanks in advance, Todd
