  1. That lake is tough.....Its really kind of strange....Its either a hit or miss for me and more times that not a miss......I have had mornings of 20+ bass then go again with the same conditions or even the next day and not got one bite. I have been skunked out there several times. I went out there spider riggin for crappie for just a couple hrs the other weekend with my wife and 3 year old. caught one that was nearly 2 lbs, a pure hoss. That was the only bite I got.
  2. Are there some good crappie in Weddington? I've bass fished there several times as well as bream fished. Both with good to descent success. Never crappie fished out there or even "accidently" caught a crappie out of there. curious if there is a good population in there?
  3. I planned on running up the river tomorrow until i saw the forecast of 20-30mph winds.
  4. No sir. That ramp i was refering to as the one by bryce's Beaverama ramp is between blue springs and twin bridges.
  5. Where are you guys launching on the white? Is there enough water to launch a flat bottom at Beaverrama or Twin bridges right now. or is the blue springs ramp and the ramp across the river by Bryce's it for the white? Also where are you guys getting your minnows right now in that area? Southtown is the only place I can think of at this time of year and its not really in that area.
  6. I planned on running up either war eagle or the white this weekend in hopes of getting my crappie limit. How do you think this water will effect the fishing up the rivers?
  7. Thanks for the info all.
  8. Looking to go camping and fishing this sunday on the Elk with my wife and 2 year old. Anyone have any suggestions on which campground would be best for a family? what is the river like right now after those rains last week? Any advice on " go to" lures for this river and time of year or just typical river fishing lures? Thanks.
