I would like to apologize for my hash mark comment. It was unnecessary and childish. As I plan on tourney fishing I will not give one more ounce of accurate info on this or any other site. Lol

This was my first tourney and it was a great experience. My partner won a $500 check. Thanks to all that made it happen. I will be fishing this again next year..... When can we sign up?

You cry babies and all this whining about A rigs or any other lures on here is making me sick and I swear the next ignorant piece of crap that wants to get on here and complain about what someone else is throwing needs to sit down and write it out in detail on paper leaving nothing out. Well you do what you feel you should I suppose, but I'm just telling you what the man with the badge and the gun told me in front of four other ppl. I personally do not feel any amount of guilt seeing as how there are anglers using $4,000 fish finders. Strapped to $40,000 boats..... <----- jealous? .... Maybee a little! So I will digress. Lol?

I was approached and told that the 2 swim baits that I had the hook points bent up into themselves.... Where they had no chance of putting a fish in the boat were not leagal. Instead he told me I must cut the hook off at the barb???? I have since ran the a rig with 5 hooks and swim baits with 2 of the hooks cut off at the barb. I am pleased to report that most of the pigs I have landed were caught on the dummy hooks. Thanks morons. And I must add that I don't even use the most unfair angling tool available( fish finder, graph).

My thoughts are that since a bunch of them came up early due to the weather that they are now moving up in waves to spawn. I have in the past 2 weeks caught a bunch of females that were spawned out and yet I talked to a guy that caught 14 big sows with eggs day before yesterday at the Dan.

I have a 1986 40hp mariner that i need fixed up and don't know who to use.

Smashed em the other morning with the a rig trailing it with 3.5 inch larrew swimbaits. On the dam wall with no water generating and also along the bluff in swan after they turned the water on. Around 20 keepers and one double (3lb) smallies.

River run and k dock are on bull shoals not taney como. On BS I've been throwing jigs top waters creature baits and of course the a rig. Catching whites and walleye early on the a rig and LM on the rest. Good luck

Where you catching those brownies at? And with what bait/presentation. I am stuck on the a rig and haven't had a small mouth in a month at least. I know last year this time I was smashing some 4 lbers on the long wall at the dam with a smoke and silver swimming minnow. Slow (brush hog) retrieve.

You said it right there.... It's not a cure all bait, I fished it for black bass and could not get a fish to sniff it much less eat it. If you do not understand bass, and I mean UNDERSTAND them then you cant catch them. That being said I don't know if I'm the only one but I have caught 70 3 to 4 lb whites in 4 days spread out over a week and a half. All on the a rig.

No doubles or triples but I did have singles with three hooks in them.
