I used to Bass fish at least three days a week 15 years ago and the same rude morons that would fly in a cut off a bank are starting to fly fish now. Even tho we lead by example by walking away there are those that lead by selfishness. Allways remember that a smile and low blood pressure will extend your life of fishing on the river. Thank you everyone for being the exception to the (now a days)rule! Good fishing!!

When someone says a Black Leach It can mean about anything is what I've seen. Can someone tell me what is the best leach recipe for Tanycomo??

If you are coming down from Rolla, go on down I44 to the second Mt Vernon exit #44. Go south on "H". You will go through Freistatt an then to Monett. Go through Monett to Hwy 37 south to Cassville. I think they call it Bus 37 through Cassville. You will turn east a the Bank of America stop light onto 112. Follow it down to Roaring River. Stop by Tim's for good fishing info!! If you have any Questions let me know. I live in Mt Vernon.

Nice! Very Nice! I think this cam will make it harder to stay at work!!! But if we have to work we can at least enjoy seeing some trout! Kind of like having our own trout aquarium.

It's been a few years ago, but A great friend of mine was on some stripers on Beaver and I went down to fish with him. We put on small shad on the fly rods and trolled around and let them drift behind us. The biggest that I caught on the fly rod was 13lbs. It was one of the most unforgetable fights of my life. I hope to do it again some day!!!

Went down around 11:00. Lots of people fishing and enjoying the great weather. Started with small woolie with fair results. I went up by the lodge for the first time this year. Even more people! Looked like a Saturday afternoon in the Summer. They were working in the water below the big pond. The water started to get murky. People started leaving. I changed to a tan skud 18" deep under a palsa. Caught fish on every cast for a while. Couldn't see the fish very well but they could see the skud. Have a Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!

This is another great example of how we are blessed here in the Ozark's. We need to thank someone everyday and take care of it. No where else is there so much great and beautiful nature. Thanks for the pictures!!!

I've been using Vanish sence it came out and love it. I've tried some of the other tippets and still come back.

What if we limit the times that boats can run to the dam or maybe where boats can run. How about limiting the boat traffic by how many units are running? I don't fish very much when there are several units running so why should the boats not be able to take avantage of it. There are so many things that could be done but the biggest thing is that we can not and will not please everyone.

I've seen so many tippet make-ups. I was wondering what other fisherman do with their lines? I tie a 14lb pcs of line to my fly line and attach a 4 or 5 foot pcs of tippet to that. Is this alright or not.
