Ok The other brown wire was a to the ground. I just got rid of it. But on the harness come from crontrol box there is 3 wires. plan white, brown and black. as I was working on it they folded a wire back and black taped it to the wireing harness it is a white with a purple line down it. what is that one for. the motor is a 76 mercury 1150power trim. The old boat it came from was a 76 champion. when i took every thing out that is how it was. thanks justin

Thanks some time this evening I going to get it out and hook the muffs up and let it run and check out my RPM. On my fuel tank I have Two wires. Is one a hot wire and the other go to the fuel gage? I Have a Trim gage on this boat that shows up middle and down. Is there a way to hook that up to my trim pump? My old champoin did not have a gage for that. Thanks justin

I will get them one way or another. LOL But I did have a superviser. My wife put my 3 year old little girl in charge of supervision me. We make a hell of a team. Yea I all most have the new boat ready.. All I really need is a longer steering cable and fix some holes in the bottom of the boat. LOL them holes are my bad. I drilled to far putting in a brackit to hold my trim pump. I still have to get some oil for my trim pump, new winch, and a diff plug for my trolling motor and thats it and ill be ready to go. I was going to get it all this week but im buying a ak47 from a guy at work so ill have to put it off for a week or two. I have a greater love for fire arms than i do for fishing. They all ways put out, last longer, dont ever talk back and keep me safe when needed but most of all I see fire arms as equity when needed. But it will come soon. Thanks for the report. Do u think its the heat or u have sore mouth them as much as u fish.LoL i would say not as of how many brush piles u have. Ok i figged out the white white wire. Its a jumper to the other tack lights. duh what was i thinkin. BUUTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!! There are 2 brown wires. one lighter brown and a dark brown??? I musted of over looked that one. but I did get the light working. the bulb was dead. Dose both brown wires on the tack tie in to the brown wire on the harness? thanks justin

Hey did they do away with the saturday? I miss fishing the mill creek tournament. I plan on make afew this year if i can get my boat put together. My father all ways had some good spots down there around baxter. We all ways hit the spots. The first time i ever came down with my father we placed 3rd I was around 11 or so. Its been about 1 years cents I have fished the tournament there? Think it was the 2011 year and the fish off.

Ok im trying to wire my tacks back up. My Rpm tack has a wireing harness that runs to my control. When i removed it all from my old boat i just cut the wires so I would just be able to color mate them back up. On the RPM tack it has a Black wire and says ground on the tack, then a brown and it says t some thing but i know that one gose to my distributor, Than there is a whire wire with a color line runing down it. Than a white wire. Both of them plug in to the + spot as power. Ok one there harness thats all of the same wiires but the white with the color line running down it. Now I have hooked all them up but the one and i was wanting to know what it was for? On my old boat the RPM tack light would turn on when i turned the key to power. so if I run a hot wire to It it would not shut off right? so Im not sure. Any help would be GREAT. lol...Josh dose any of them look like yours you have lost? If u find any #3 hooks i lost a few sunday. I would like to get them back. U can keep the sinker. LOL Sounds like a bad day. I seen a boat on craigslist and it had a bad transom and it looked like it went out just like mine did. Yes my family and I would like to say thanks Lilley the food was great...… Jason had 2 short bass and 1 blue gill. I had 2 short bass, but we did have a lot of bites but just could not make it happen. after about 2 hrs of day light the bites got real real slow. But over all I had a great time. Its been awhile cents I have been fishing so any day on the water is great. We stayed till 4 swimming with the kids. But I did get burnet real bad on the face. errrrrrr The boaters and seadoers did pick up about 3 or alittle after. Thanks justin

Well its a funny deal but I had a post on craigslist that I had my boat and motor for sell and I put a add for looking for a boat to see if I found a cheap boat first or I sold every thing first. I had a lady call me asking me what I wanted for the motor. She said they had a boat and the motor over heated so they bought a newer boat and was trying to sell there old one and was going to see what a motor would cost to get it to sell faster, but than she said she would sell the boat for real cheap and I asked her how much just for the boat no nothing just boat. she said $250. I told her it was sold as long as I came out and checked it out and it was all good. We talked when I was looking at there boat and asked if they would just like to trade trailers as well. they said that would work so I gave $250 plus my trailer. I well be very glad to get her up and going. All I have left to do is buy a steering cable and put it in and put in my trim pump and run the pluming for the trim. I still have a little rewiring left. I have got my lights all rewired and hooked up. I was going to work on it to day after work but for the last 3 weeks I have been working 10hrs days for 5 days and 6hrs on saturday. and I am in need of a day of lazynes. lol But ill be glad to hit the lake tomarrow for the fishing meet.

ok so we will be meeting at 600am and will be headed out no later than 630 am. We will head back in at 1230pm to eat and meet. Is that a 10-4 josh?? Yea its pretty hot. Im a tig welder and I was sweatin like a hooker at church At work to day. But Im ready to get back fishing. I am about 100% that im going to have to rewire my boat. Ok I got the new boat last wendays. I got started on it thursday. This Saturday I got the motor bolted on and running. I still have to get a longer steering cable. But here is what it looks like so far. I hope to have it going in a weeks. I may have to rewire every thing. so it may be a few weeks. HOPE not. I still have to put and hook up my trim pump. Im look for a used steering cable for my new boat. The old one from my old boat is to short. My new boat is a 83 I think. I would have to look but its a charger model 270V. Im putting my 76 115 mec. From what I have measured I think it needs to be 13ft long. Thanks Justin 1417 365 2435
