This has produced some good smallies over the last week on the James.

I'm using an iwata airbrush with just a 1/5 hp airbrush compressor from harbor freight. Nothing crazy but gets the job done while trying to learn.

Did hooten to blunks last year and it was all pretty decent fishing. It was middle of July. We did 3 days 2 nights. And everyday was decent fishing.

There's a pretty good smallmouth population James and defininately no walleye especially past Delaware town ?

I know that float inch by inch. It's gotten a lot slower over the years. I caught 5 on fluke right behind that tree last Thursday. And a couple in the big pool before it

It's best have someone drop you off at the bridges not really room park vehicle just before the river cut entrance. If you go down right side where people bank fish is where I put in.

Had a day off from work yesterday and put in rivercut about 7:30 yesterday. First cast caught one on spook. Only topwater fish of the day. Then caught a few off cranks and jigs and couple flukes. 11 in total. Fish seemed to be biting real suttle or just picking up trailer and barely moving it. Had to let them have it for a lil but longer before setting hook. Overall good day. Little sun burn but good trip.

How long do you guys wait before taking a new lure on water? I'm ready throw some of these baits but don't want to get them wet to early.

Any idea why they keep flipping sideways? Lol I feel dumb. But this was tonight's go at it. Went a lot smoother than previous ones. Starting to figure out the proper thinning of paint and air.

I fished Sunday morning and had 2 on chatterbaits, and 2 on jigs and blow up on a spook surprisingly

Well Sunday morning headed out for some morning fishing at springfield lake to see what could get to bite. Caught two decent ones and set the hook on a third and he happened to be over a log as I proceeded to try lean into him to try and keep him up and get him over the log I finally leaned a bit to far and took a splash. Haha first time in 3 years kayak fishing. Hurt the old pride a little bit. Hopefully it'll be another 3+ years until the next one.
