  1. Went there yesterday, water temp was around 55-59. Caught a handful of bass by the tall grass by marina around 7ish on swim baits. (On kayak) getting greener by the day.
  2. I'm going to be kayaking there. Be there by 6am. Any1 been there lately, since the Temp. Has been crazy
  3. That is awesome! never had any luck with whites in that area, always seem to attract walleyes, crappies and Larges ... I always have to drive to Truman Dam if i want to rip some whites or hybrids. Awesome Pic! thanks for posting
  4. Went out the Stockton Lake earrrly morning to test out my buddies Umbrella lure. Had to admit, I was quite skeptical. After a few throws it got the attention of a small walleye .... shortly when the sun came out, caught me a 3 LMB , the biggest one at 2.5lbs . Not bad for a few hours of line wetting. Decided to move towards the Sac River bridge and it was PACKKKEDDDD ... no fish there but def a good morning. DEF look fwd for this fridays fishing, even though the weathers gonna be poop.
  5. Had a chance to hit up Mcdaniel, Fellows or Springfield lake today, but only had to choose 1. Decided to go to Springfield Lake because it was closer for me. I took my spot at the end of the point and casted out towards the dam drop off. Was there for about an hour. I was also JIggin and using crankbaits to test my luck. nothing. The only reason i came here was i been reading a lot of success stories with other anglers here. Figure i would give it another go, but nothing. Maybe i'm there at the wrong time? IDK. I should of went to Fellows. Anybody know if Mcdaniel is hot this year? I'm leaving for Fellows tom. Morning around 5 and might do a pit stop at McDaniels if its worth it. -Joseph
  6. I usually have real good luck with catfish over by where they release the water. Next to the OLD boat-launch ramp. I swear by this location because every time i go there i always catch something. Caught a whitebass (using minnows) in that same area, a Walleye (white rooster tail) in that area, and lots of catfish there (granted you can avoid the bluegills there. I hate them when they steal of my Liver or nights. I usually rig it with pantyhose) Small and good size. My wife and i love that area. I like going there more than where the bridge is. Also i found a new spot for LMB fishing. Its in between the Marine and where the Gazebo is. I don't have a boat, so i try to hit every single shore i can at fellows. Those, so far are among the best spots (i'm sure theres a lot more) that i enjoy fishing at. enjoy! Jv Wifes first time fishing. small wall, released it decent WB, ate it LOL all in the same week
  7. I have never gotten any luck with LMB here at fellows. I don't have a boat so i can't go out and try new areas. I only have 2 spots i primarily fish, by the bridge and at Gate 4 (pass the marina) where they release water. Any spots yall wanna help reveal to me (LOL) i love this lake because its close, but finding a spot is hard. Discouraged.
  8. Nice man. Where do you fish at for cats and bass? I never have any luck over there. Not even nibbles. I usually go on the other side where the dam is. The other side where the dock and island is always jam pack full of ppl.
  9. very nice. I have never caught anything there before. I used to go there a lot but had no luck. Where do you fish at if you don't mind me asking? Jv
