I'm around Cedar Bottom/Hwy E. Not dropping my exact location here ya know. Probably said too much already. Some of you know the river well. Yes shuttles are hard unless I'm putting in at Silvermines. I'm usually pulling out at E bridge but they've been building a new bridge there this summer. Haven't been far past it but been lookin to float down to Marble Creek. I believe C/Dug Out is about 15 or so miles from what I've read. May be wrong with the mileage though. Careful leaving a vehicle around for sure. There's a reputation for the area but the folks around me are good. Family of mine has been goin there for decades. I will say most times where I'm goin on the river I end up paddling back instead of shuttles. That's part of the deal going solo I guess. Hey Al, I read your write-up on the river some time ago and it is great work! Section by section and geology of the area inspired me to research it myself. Gave me a whole new understanding of the river I learned to cast a rod on. I just wanted to make sure I told you thank you. Sorry for going off topic!

Hey jd, what upper section if you don't mind me asking? I have access as well in an upper reach. No biggie if you want to keep it to yourself. I'm new to the board and all. I'm looking to expand my sections of fishing since I've been keeping to a general area all these years. No fishing real fishin buddies for me, I'm pretty much solo. Lookin to expand that too. Thanks! I'm replying to correct myself. That sale on the konic wasn't at bps it was cabelas. Got confused. Getting geared back up after some years away from fishing means too many new boxes. Probably would have saved some dough had I watched this board for deals. You guys are on it. Would have gotten the konic I wanted from the OP's source instead of the rls. Returning it has crossed my mind.

They were on sale at bps for 70 to 100. I picked up a 7-8 wt for 98. Wanted a 5-6 wt also but they sold out quick! Picked up a 5-6 RLS from cabelas (also on sale) instead but its not comparable to the konic. Oh well. Oh yeah, I'm new here and I fish. Hi.
