Nice, were ya in a boat. Took a wild hunch and walked up to Taylors. Very slow, might go to Forsyth and look around for crappie today. Should have thrown a rock at me lol. I gave up about 11 or so.

Think it would be worth going down to Blunks in the AM? Hope they are still around. Should be there around daylight, shortly before. Its iether that or Forsyth/Kissee Mills for a change, hate being limited to the banks lol. Where do you suggest?

I ended up going to Long Creek and 'slayed' them, big largemouths, cpl big whites, two catfish, and something that spooled me and wrapped around something out there.

Camera took a crap, but did manage to catch about 10 bass...top five where 3-5lbs I imagine. 3 HUGE white bass and 2 Channel Cats, and something BIG that got into trees and was gone after messing with it for a good hour lol. Not bad for fishing one little area off the bank for 1 1/2 hours or so. For about an hour things were just non stop almost. Bass where really close to bank busting the heck out of the surface. Whites were just a big surprise casting around wasting time. Sorry no pics, but was true, best outing sofar this hear for me, finally got some meat for freezer lol.

Parked yesterday and took Teddy down the left side lookin for the fabled Taylor Shoals. Walked down till no more trucks could go and path narrowed into trees. Dog looked like he wanted water so I turned back and got to the cpl places he could get to and drink, and headed back to ramp, lots of folks around. I think I should have kepted on walking through trees? Headed back towards ramp and fished a spot where a cpl trees made enough room to fish the bank drop dunno, 1/2 mile down or so, caught one nice 14" on fourth cast and nothing after. Walked right, over dam and caught a cpl dinks, called it good about 7. Met a nice family with a cpl girls that just wanted to play with dog lol. Man I suck, I should be catching more fish lol. We did have a good walk so all was good there. Got to meet Don out there, made it a point to come and say hello, said he saw dog on forums, so that really made the day, to bad I was sick and wore out, should have hung out. Thinking of trying Forsyth/Kissee Mills for a change tomorrow.

Thanks was hoping it was farther lol, less peeps. We are heading that way, hopefully it won't rain right when I get there lol.

Going to try and make it this evening after I get off work this afternoon. Now how far up river is Taylors, going to walk upstream tonight for a change I think, I keep gettin stampeded on downstream.

Went down yesterday afternoon, water still up, but was fishable, caught four nice ones anyhow, more of a dog trip.

Weather is not looking promising for my Sunday night, Mon, Tues outing though.

I was below ramp at 7:30 AM or so, bit late, caught a cpl keepers on vibrex. About four dinks, then lightening came through, never hooked another after that, quit about 10:30 and said I would come back. Got fat and sassy during dinner, never left the recliner lol.

I probably picked a bad day, but told the boss today I was callin in 'fishing', he said 'Go for it'. We will be down there both Am and Evening, dont shoot the Mountain Lion as a girl called him lol.

You will just see him on the bank, be down Sunday night (I hope), Mon/Tues I am off. Say hello if ya see us, getting bored fishin all by my lonesome. Only 160 lbs or so, not that big of a monster. Nice to get out again for sure after having crap taking while I was layed up.

Who's dog is this? Hint: He was in a quad, nice, but beat up old guy. Had to just drop down and laugh at what I was seeing, little fella did not have a chance, hell of an effort. Lucky Ted is mellow, and not hungry I guess. I do believe my dog was more pissed I was laughing so hard, 15 lb dog tryin to hump one 160, get the guy a footstool.

I went there Monday, all seemed high, but not overly bad, then went to same spot I parked Tuesday... PS. Drove over to Blunk late this morning...0945 or so, did not plan on it, had one chartrues vibrex tail I used for a bit, caught six, one was a keeper I guess, rest dinks. But they shut down around 1030 for me anyhow, then I lost that little sucker in a hangup lol. I need to rent a boat, take this big adopted fella on his first boat ride

Surprised there was not more on banks this morning, 15 boats. Did not plan on going, got ran out of house around 0830 in Branson, and drove over to check out.

Was one dude on the very corner of ledge this morning, halfway down trail.

Walked back today, ledge is under I believe. Caught several dinks, one decent. Lost my only vibrex in chartreuse I had, they seemed to shut off at 1030 though. They are there, or very close.
