So I have bought and installed a Hb 598ci HDSI on my Champion. But as luck would have it, it's not working properly. The 2D, DI, GPS, and everything else is working good. On the side imaging screen, I am seeing 2 lines perpendicular in the left water column. In the image 75ft left and right, the bottom, im also seeing lines throughout. I even went by some brush that was sticking out of the water and all I could see was the shadow of it, no detail what so ever. When mounting the transducer, I did my homework and mounted it below and to the right of the motor mount. The right/left view is not blocked by anything. Does anyone have a clue on what could be wrong here?

Thanks, I bought one yesterday. What about map data cards for lake of the ozarks? Lake masters doesn't have LOTO listed as an HD lake, what does standard definition look like? I'm leaning towards navonics hot maps.

Hey guys, I am in need of some quick feedback because I plan on installing my humminbird 598ci SI this weekend! I am planning on mounting it next to the steering wheel, but would like it to be able to swivel towards the front so I can see it from the bow. Can that be accomplished with standard mounting equip, or do I have to buy a ram mount? If so, which model works best? Any personal experience with this would be appreciated. Thanks

I heard something the other day i really liked. Chuckles and clucks gets you more ducks! When learning to call, ignore the youtube video's of competition calling. The hail calls and rolling feeders will not do much good in the field. Phil Robertson once said "I Ain't ever heard a duck sound like that!"

So, I have been waiting what seems like forever to get a graph on my boat....finally purchased one. I bought the Humminbird 598ci HD SI Combo, just couldn't pass up side imaging and graph for that price! Now I'm looking for some advice....Should I mount the transducer to the transom or trolling motor? Note* I have never used SI....Does anyone know of a way to wire it to both the dash and pedal? This would give me an option of which of the two mounting brackets to use. That way when scouting it could be near the steering wheel and near the pedal when fishing. Essentially, this would answer my 1st question (transom) if it's even possible.
