  1. Nice FH. I recognize that spot....ive shot a few flats and eyes there. Its a nice dive as well.
  2. 1st I'd like to thank everyone for all the info. Just got of the water ....put in at diamond city and fished mostly steep chunk rock banks i (as mike w I believe said) trolled 7mm flicker shad in black silver and blue tiger caught walleye on both 14 to 16 feet on the hbird. Around 10:30 the bite slowed ...I still saw fish in the same areas just 18 to 25 ft now. Switched to wart and caught one short walleye and a few smallies. Ended the morn with 6 total eyes 4 shorts a 19 and a 22" 3 spots 1 crappie and 3 whites. The best part of the trip was seeing my dad catch his 1st eye (the 22) spent 1sst part of morn putting the advice on this topic to use, with great results...can't thank everyone enough.. when i figure out how to post pics w the droid 4 I will do so.....
  3. Thanks a lot rps, especially for the line suggestion, that's as handy as a pocket on a shirt. I will put it to work this morning. Thanks again for all the info
  4. http://www.thenextbite.tv/Precision_Trolling i am getting into trolling because its a much easier way to take my dad out and put him on some fish..during some research i came across this ....looks very helpfull if accurate and when it released...thought maybe some other trolling rookies mau find it usefull (tho has yet to b released)
  5. have to agree. I grew up fishing crooked creek and the best time to catch the big brownies is low water in the summer. they are spooky but nothing like sight fishing smallies in that low clear water
