Thanks! I think we are staying at Wyndham Mountain Vista, which is right by the dam. My wife's parents are taking the whole family down there, so I plan to sneak out every morning to get some fishing in. Thanks for the advice guys.

Hey everyone, I will be down by Taneycomo this week and I was just wanting to know of some good spots to go on foot. I figured Sheperd of the Hills was probably my best bet/closest. Does anyone know what time I can actually start there? Is it the same dawn to dusk rules like most conservation areas? Any other spots are welcome. Thanks!

Hey everyone, I'm John, from Saint Louis, MO. I will be down at Branson next weekend with my wife's family just hanging out. I think we are staying at Wyndham Mtn.Vista. I plan to sneak out each morning to go fishing by the dam at Lake Taneycomo and do some shore fishing on tablerock if possible. Just figure I'd say hello and see if any other fisherman would be there at the same time. I've been looking around the forum for some tips, so feel free to share. If anyone is looking for a partner to split gas with for a day on the boat let me know... I'd be more than interested, just send me a message.
